      @@scotthendry6298 This is a nationalist anthem. The band ought to have known better than to choose this during a time of openly racist violence against black people. Could you imagine their 2-Tone labelmates The Specials, for example, playing this?

      @@RebeccaTurner-ny1xxThe song was a deliberate piss take on nationalism. It’s not Lee Thomson’s fault (who wrote the song) that there are some people not intelligent enough to understand this. He also wrote the song ‘Embarrassment’, which is an anti racist song. He had a mixed race niece, who suffered racist abuse alongside her mother (his sister). It’s the biggest myth on the planet that Madness were right wing, they were/and are, anything but.
