    I had been to the Camino 5times. I am going again next week for 30 days from Burgos to Santiago de Compostela. It keeps calling me back. I agree that we reflect on the past and try to throw away the thoughts from our head. It is so therapeutic.

      Yea I definitely will need to do it again at some point in my life! Enjoy your time! We loved Burgos, there was a really cool museum about ancient history in Burgos, highly recommend!

    More satisfying is arriving in Finisterre, walking up to the lighthouse, sitting on the rocks nearby & watching the sunsetting into the ocean.

    Well done. Nice short video but full of the Camino experience and very nicely filmed; you must have had a camera on a drone at some points. Nice shots of the open countryside. I also liked that you focused on what we can learn from the Camino, and you listed three valuable lessons. You have a positive attitude: keep going.

    • @EbrightExplores
      @EbrightExplores  Год назад +2

      It was mostly warm and sunny until we got near the end (last 5 days) which was rainy and cold! Overall I think October/November is a great time to do it!

    7:15 ……can you please explain is there a correct way to pack a BALANCED backpack? I was walking the Camino Ingles and developed lower back spasms….could not walk anymore.

    • @EbrightExplores
      @EbrightExplores  Год назад +2

      Best way to pack is have the bulk of your weight be at the top of your bag, this reduces the strain on your lower back!

    • @karenv1070
      @karenv1070 Год назад +1

      And make sure the belt is lower than your waist- on your hips - this is where the weight of the bag should rest.

    I learned…
    1) How to count to one
    2) My body needed 17 miles of movements to warm up
    3) I can live on so little food
    4) Dealing with the boring is the key ingredient in life
    5) Infinity is the only philosophy I needed. I at the present moment is the only truth, if there is one.

    I'm have a gluten free AND yeast free diet. How difficult would it be managing my diet (access to places serving food i could eat etc) if I attempted to walk the Camino

    • @EbrightExplores
      @EbrightExplores  4 месяца назад +1

      Ehh we had some issues with the food 😂 alot of times there were strictly very few options in some of the towns we stayed in. I'd say MOST places you could probably find gluten free and yeast free, but the really small villages maybe not so much.
      Do you like meat? If so then you probably won't have any issues! There is plenty of meat everywhere

    Did you find god ?

    • @EbrightExplores
      @EbrightExplores  Год назад +3

      I'm not sure if it was God, but I definitely felt more connected to the earth and our history as humans! Whatever is out there definitely created quite a beautiful world
