Todd is so hilariously weird. Between his not knowing anything about movies, his Chubby Checker (Checkers) story, not knowing anything about music yet having very elaborate opinions and setups at his home parties, and his insane relationship with reverb, he's great. When he said that he added reverb to that Billy Joel song and explained why, I lost it.
Todd Glass, literally twelve minutes into the bit in which he can't determine whether or not he's listening to U2: "Look me in the eye, and play a real song... I'll be able to tell."
“Can I tell you something? Pause it? And I don’t think it’s fair… I know so little about him, but yet maybe I know more. Just from the music, I’m thinking ’No.’” “Let’s hear a little more.” “O.K.” *uptempo human beatboxing resumes* “See, I don’t think he would do that.” *sampled horn and guitar stings play over the beatbox* “But maybe he’s trying to…”
There are a few clips that I can find and this is one of them that after I absolutely know that I have to laugh, and I'm certain I will then I put it on
I listened to this through a PA with some reverb and a live drummer and it sounded great.
Just the way Billy Joel would listen to it.
Todd is so concerned he’ll offend fans of the 1920s, I love him.
Around :50 when the Scotts say "he's been around" in unison makes me cry every damn time.
I haven't laughed much harder than when Todd finally realises Scott is playing the Cheers theme.

He's a reverb fiend.
I love Todd. Truly insane in the best possible way.

we lived next door to chubby checkers, that's why i got addicted to tour buses.
i used to clean chubby checkers pool
edit: and the bus was still there
Todd referring to U2 songs as "his" songs makes me laugh every time it happens.
"I think he'd be pretty impressed that I knew that wasn't him!"
are u trying to find stuff that sorta sounds like "him" even????
the first time I heard this I fell out of my chair twice with laughter. This is pure, pure genius.
my co-workers asked what was wrong bc I was crying so hard.
I was on the subway. People looked at me a lot. Didn't care. So funny.
My eyes cross with psychotic laughter when Todd asks, without any guile: “So do you guys like U2?”
"No..."
"Nope, you're right, it's the Fat Boys. Wipeout."
I lost it.

I’ve listened to this episode so many times, and I nearly piss myself laughing every time. My favorite episode of any podcast ever.
This is perhaps the funniest moment in podcast history. Todd Glass is such a good sport.
I absolutely adore every second of this episode of Staind Glass
def top 5 staind glass eps
This is the best thing that has ever happened.
This bit was so good it was featured on an episode of This American Life
I wanna hear it when was it
@@queensinthesky wow that's so cool.
Gold. Pure, unadulterated comedy gold.
I love how Weezer gave him pause.
mflatt12 it’s so good. He legit thinks for like 15 seconds. It’s the first one that makes Scott admit what the song is
"SOMETIMES YOU WANNA GO...."
You like U2...
Yeah, we both do.
“He’s been around” is so damn cathartic
This episode makes me cry every time.
Right side sally on the side side sally!
Todd Glass is brilliant.
the road trip bit is amazing
God dammit, can't you give me his first name? I'm picturing him in his big...glasses.
hilarious.
Every time they start a new song I die laughing. SO FUNNY
This is such a flawless series of bits. God dammit.
this portion of the ep makes me cry every time
comedy like this is pure gold
HEY NINETEEEN
I think the movie Todd was thinking of was The Buddy Holly Story
😂 Underrated comment.
I forgot about this. This was so damn funny.
Scotts iTunes collection on a road trip would make me want to end it all..
He seriously has EVERYTHING.
This might be the funniest thing ever recorded

Why does Todd think Bono would like him for NOT knowing his music?
Yeah obvs Bono prefers obsessed fans that won't stop bringing up their favorite songs nervously
"Basically Dracula with giant sunglasses... who gives a shit about the world". Too bad this bit is missing haha
Great bit
I think tour bus addiction has finally been added to the DSM handbook. Hopefully that will destigmatize this crippling disorder.
Is this an episode of “is this his name?”
I used to like U2. I still do, but i used to too.
What is the song before they finally play U2? I'm making a Spotify playlist.
Happy Days
I hope you found what you're looking for
@@troy8420 fuck you
@@jchen3 you're cool
Todd Glass was afraid of offending the 20s
did the Scott's ever mention Bono's real name?
I think in one of the first episodes of UTU2TM?
Bonobos.
Todd is hilarious. Yet I think he's on the "spectrum" in some way.
He shoulda just youtubed it and played a song over them 😂
U2 is the best band on earth your gonna have haters
it wasnt THAT '50s
lmao this guy does NOT know much about U2
He’s absolutely heard of them though. You can’t argue with that.
