Actually, the exception to the rule of punches and kicks in Street Fiughter is Zangief. It looks like he could easily fit into the game, but usually when there's a Haggar, there's no Zangief and vice versa. It begs the question... Are they one and the same person? Doubtful, but you never see both of them in the same game, even in Slammasters.

Your break down of wrestling as a medium viewed between the west and Japan is spot on. In part it is why I enjoy watching the current age of Japanese wrestling as its treated like a sport and lacks a lot of the garbage that WWE and other promotions try to push into their product.

I have this game for MAME and watching this makes me want to play it. I heard of Super Street Fighter 2 being ported to the FM Towns system, but until now was not aware that Saturday Night Slam Masters was also ported to it.

Why is this guy talking about wrestling? I'd much rather have an expert...
Please don't kill me, Mr. Top Hat! It's only a joke, bro....

Slight correction: SNSM's three button configuration is actually: attack, jump and pin
While Muscle Bomber Duo's three button configuration is: grab, attack and jump

Great game! Funny that Oni and El Stingray were rivals. That was the team me and my brother always played as.

Great Video. I played this back in the day & loved it. I have the Japanese version for my SNES, as the Pal version was just too expensive and it’s fantastic. I did not know it has a sequel. Most interesting 🧐

Another great video. Dude its time to buy a Behringer Um2 and a AT2020. The quality of the audio needs to be to the same level of the content in your videos. That is a great cheap setup to up your game. EDIT: I want to see the sequel! This was posted 7/9.. well its 7/10 and i am still waiting.
