Just finished the "His Way in the Sanctuary" series. Love the way Pastor Stephen Bohr preaches, so I gotta watch some more sermons of his in regards to the sanctuary.
Pastor Bohr explains the sanctuary so clearly, we are blessed to have this truth, but we need to share this with others, and allow His Spirit to use us, while there is still time.
May the message of Present Truth be sounded loud & clear! May all of GOD's professed people look to the Sanctuary & behold CHRIST officiating therein, writing HIS Law in our hearts & minds. May we realise that HE is our all-powerful mediator.
brilliant sermon Happy Sabbath from UK btw ive been self isolating since 2011 so not that much of a change for me ..stay safe in these virus ridden times
faith(or more easily: belief) is a GIFT from GOD so we(christians) will have it in our mind bc God has put in there !!! so there is NO condition of any kind
God's free gift of grace can either be accepted or rejected. "By which also ye are saved, IF ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain." 1 Cor 15:2 Paul in no uncertain terms tells us UNLESS we believe and walk in the Gospel, such "believing" is in vain. It's a useless, false, dead faith, a rejection of His grace. IF, on the other hand, we BELIEVE and WALK in the Gospel, we accept Jesus' free gift and enter into life.
"When the minister enters, it should be with dignified, solemn mien. He should bow down in silent prayer as soon as he steps into the pulpit, and earnestly ask help of God. What an impression this will make!" {Pr 205.4} I agree it would make for a better impression, and I'm sure most ministers pray on their knees privately before their public prayer prior to their sermons. Through tribulations, I do think one day the church will in its members accurately reflect the glory of God.
I totally agree. Bowing in prayer before the Lord is a sign that you submit yourself in His most Holy and awesome presence. It also opens the way for the Holy Spirit to take over the presentation of the word
you all probably dont care but does anyone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my account password. I would love any assistance you can give me.
@Roman Randall Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Pastor Bohr is a good man. I believe he is sincere as a God Child. What he is teaching, this is why God had man do these earthly rituals that Jesus is performing now in Heaven. Pastor Bohr is a righteous man, I believe. See, what he's saying about true and false followers. I put it like this, "actions speak louder than words". Our actions show if we really meant it when we came to Jesus.
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain." 1 Cor 15:1-2 We are saved by the Gospel IF we keep it in memory, if we believe and walk in it.
Exactly, Christ in us. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Gal 2:20 If Jesus lives in us by His Holy Spirit we will live more and more as Jesus lived, a lifestyle opposite of sin, of keeping His commandments. "You shall know them by their fruit." Matt 7:16
@@Watchman-At-The-Gate Israel was a theocracy, God was in direct charge. Discipline then was a foretaste of the future. If you really did not know that, I suggest you begin reading the Bible! Not websites, read the Word! Q: How many unrepentant Sabbath breakers will make it to heaven? How many unrepentant idolaters or coveteous will gain eternal life?
INteresting points. I have been thinking about this recently. ALthough, I am often torn. Sometimes I just want to kneel before the Lord - often in church when others are standing. Not sure if its the right thing to do or not. I have the idea that I might just mention to my Bro's and Sis' in my church if they would feel ok should I decide to do it. I dont want to embarrass my church brothers and sisters.
Yes.. I can pray as I walk, drive or even lay in a bed. But when preaching before souls, Sister White says. "...as I beheld him standing upright upon his feet while his lips were about to open in prayer to God, my soul was stirred within me to give him an open rebuke. Calling him by name, I said, "Get down upon your knees." This is the proper position always." -SM2 p. 311
Yes. "On knees" is the way to pray. However, as per the Sanctuary doctrine, we "pray in spirit" (John 4:22); by faith we enter the Sanctury while we pray and kneel in spirit before God. But we ought to kneel and pray while we can and have place to kneel. However, when we have no place to kneel, e.g. in a car, patient on a bed, you can pray so, and will be accepted. I WAS SHOWN IN A DREAM: READ IT Dream - In the church on bed January 29, 2022, before woke up at 4:30pm on Sabbath afternoon I had been praying to God to make me provision to go to church and worship Him on every Sabbath, with my family during this pandemic time. But I did not receive any such provision, which made available for me to go to church with my family. I refrained from going to church every Sabbath, due to a particular reason. That is, whenever I went to church, church members asked me about my wife and children; I used to tell lie, feeling ashamed to tell the truth of not having children at this age. My wife was not with me either, since the 2nd week of our marriage, due to some technical reasons. We are in two different countries; countries laws and educational conformity were holding my wife from joining me in the country I live. Although, I was not going to church, I was spending the Holy Sabbath reading Bible, reading spirit of prophecy, and listening the live or recorded sermon of our church preachers on the RUclips. I used to sit on the bed, and my back against 3 pillows against the headboard of the bed, and then watch sermon exactly around 11:00 am, about the same time SDA church worship service begins around the world. I had been doing this for long time, till today. And, I was sitting on the bed, because there was no chair at the table for me to sit. Sitting on the bed was only option. Then, on January 29, 2022, after launch, I listened another sermon 3/4 and was feeling sleepy. I shut down the computer and slept. And I dreamt. Lo, suddenly I saw myself midst a church service, in the middle of the congregation, in the literal middle portion of the floor, where there are people sitting at my front, at my right, at my left, at my hind, and many are standing at my hind part. I wasn't sitting on any chair or standing either; I was sitting on a bed as I used to do every Sabbath at my residence. I was shown only this much. I woke up. I was wondering, what the meaning of this dream be? Then, I realized of my keeping Sabbath lonely in the room is being accepted by God. Because I was also praying to God, saying, if it is not acceptable in your sight the way I am keeping the Sabbath, let it be me known me, so that I may correct myself. All I know, knowingly, I have not broken the Sabbath. I have not done anything that is prohibited on the Sabbath. God seek the sincere hearts. I pray twice daily morning and the evening. I am very much afraid, if I have done anything which is not lawful; if I have worshipped another before Him, unknowingly; and if I have preached anything which contrary to the Scripture. For such thing are sin against God.
@710moz Amen. His word is not hard to understand, if we first purpose in our hearts to obey it, no matter what popular opinion says or what we might have been taught to the contrary. God bless.
Two, the Sermon on the Mount, the most perfect truthful & reverent sermon ever given. Matthew chapters 5-7. Jesus did not kneel in public prayer beforehand. Sometimes we see in Scripture Jesus kneeling in prayer, sometimes He did not. The conclusion is, we cannot condemn a man simply because he did not kneel publicly before a prayer or sermon, because then you would have to also condemn Jesus for not being a perfect example for us!
"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." Isa 55:7. ONLY those who forsake their wicked ways receive mercy & pardon. That is GRACE! What if we instead do not forsake our sinful ways, will God forgive us? "For if we SIN WILLFULLY after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth NO more sacrifice for sins." Heb 10:26
@ 34:40 AMEN...... AMEN.......... AMEN!!!!! Bless this man for speaking TRUTH. "We are not to cringe and beg pardon of the world for telling them the truth: we should scorn concealment. Unfurl your colors to meet the case of men and angels. Let it be understood that Seventh-day Adventists can make no compromise. In your opinions and faith there must not be the least appearance of wavering; the world has a right to know what to expect of us,..." (cont...)
let me say this again : belief(faith) is a GIFT from GOD in Rom. 11:29 the same Paul says that the gifts and calling of God are without repentance(GOD will not change His mind) so what God gives can not be taken away by Him,nor by any of us for that matter you have to remember that many of the 'conditions' and warrnings that you see in NT are bc the writers were writting to the professing(many are called but few chosen) church,inside of that group we have the possessing church(the elect)
Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
@preachinshawn Salvation consists of two aspects: pardon & reclamation. Our sins are cancelled when we accept CHRIST but they are not then blotted out! Atonement is in two stages. GOD vindicates HIS actions through the services of the Heavenly Sanctuary. Not only is HE just in forgiving us but HE is just when HE blots out our sins. Why? Because HE declares us righteous & actually makes us righteous (Rom 3:26; Is 55:10-11; Ps 33:6,9; Rom 4:17; Heb 11:3).GOD transforms us (Mk 4:26-29; 2 Cor 5:17)
"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?" Js 2:14 so...here's James' analogy: "If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." Js 2:15-17 Jesus in us compels us opposite of self & sin.
If we do sin, we confess & repent, and by His grace our high priest Jesus is just and faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness .1 John 1:9 "What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid." Rom 6:15. We absolutely cannot live a lifestyle of willfully breaking God's law and expect His grace to cover our sins. No more sacrifice remains for a willful sinner. God can give no more than He already has in Jesus.
and written upon HIS thigh is "KING OF KINGS" LORD OF LORDS" praying for all who are on this earth if this (Covid19) is just the beginning of sorrows then we really need to hurry and get right and ready for that small dark cloud coming out of the east about the size of a mans fist
i was very explicit about warrnings in the NT some of the 'problems' that the church in Corinth had was the resurrection of the body and even went as far as to say that resurrection is not true 1Cort. 15:12-13,so Paul does set up the arguments for the resurrection of the body from the begging of chp. 15 by reminding them what the Gospel is(part of the Gospel has to do with the resurrection of the body of Christ) now we see that what they tought to be 'in vain' was actually not
Ah but you know I can't take any credit for this message, neither can Pr. Bohr, as the glory belongs to God alone, but I'm happy to have some small part in this. God bless!
Luke 8 12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; & these have no root, which for a while believe, & in time of temptation fall away. 14 & that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, & are choked with cares and riches & pleasures of this life, & bring no fruit to perfection.
From Wikipedia: "The Seventh-day Adventist Church is the largest of several Adventist groups which arose from the Millerite movement of the 1840s in upstate New York, a phase of the Second Great Awakening. [Bible students from various denominations around the world in the early 1800's saw that Daniel's 2300-year prophesy would end in 1844 and thought it meant Christ would return that year. Miller, a Baptist preacher, was perhaps the most well known of these.] William Miller predicted on the basis of Daniel 8:14-16 and the "day-year principle" that Jesus Christ would return to Earth between the spring of 1843 and the spring of 1844. In the summer of 1844, Millerites came to believe that Jesus would return on October 22, 1844, understood to be the biblical Day of Atonement for that year. When this did not happen (an event known as the "Great Disappointment"), most of his followers disbanded and returned to their original churches. Some Millerites came to believe that Miller's calculations were correct but that his interpretation of Daniel 8:14 was flawed as he assumed it was the "earth that was to be cleansed" or Christ would come to cleanse the world. These Adventists arrived at the conviction that Daniel 8:14 foretold Christ's entrance into the Most Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary rather than his Second Coming. This new awareness of a sanctuary in heaven became an important part of their thinking. Over the next few decades this understanding developed into the doctrine of the investigative judgment, an eschatological process commenced in 1844 in which Christians will be judged to verify their eligibility for salvation and God's justice will be confirmed before the universe. This group of Adventists continued to believe that Christ's Second Coming would be imminent. They resisted setting further dates for the event, citing Revelation 10:6, "that there should be time no longer."[13]"
"....which gift of faith He gives to EVERY man. Rom 12:3." to every men that were among them at Rome not everymen that ever lived right ??? (so we understand each other!!!)
It's not ignoring anything, it's believing God's clear word. Did David live a lifestyle of continuous, unrepentant sin? Or, did he repent painfully, from the heart, when he fell, and let Jesus in him through the Holy Spirit direct his life? "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 That is heartfelt confession & repentance. Different than knowing God's will yet by lifestyle ignoring it, right?
These saved ones, whom Paul is addressing in 1 Cor 15:1-2, would have no need of hearing any further condition of salvation by keeping in memory and believing & walking in according with the Gospel if there was no chance of them losing out on salvation. But even after we are saved, we CAN neglect such great salvation. Heb 2:3. Satan does his best to convince even Christians of the doctrine of devils "once saved always saved". But our eternal salvation is IF we remain with Christ.
Greetings, Ellen White was adamant that for the good of the S.D.A. movement “new light” must come, in her writings there is the kernel of this new light, its called 'Unusual Statement on the Scapegoat'. Based on this kernel of new light, Daniel 8:14 translates: “Sabbath will return to the Law of the Sanctuary”, the Sanctuary means the Christian Church, and “cleansing, or return, means the restoration of the Biblical Decalogue back in the Christian Church. Leviticus 16:5 is interpreted so that the “two kids of the goats” represent Esau/Christians, and Jacob/Jews, and the “ram” represents Isaac/Jesus. Proofs for the above are derived from the original Hebrew wording, with confirmation by Ellen White in the above statement. This normalizes our S.D.A. theology, making it palatable to both Christians and Jews, so that reconciliation becomes possible.
@NicholasPOGM "The message to the Laodiceans is applicable to Seventh-day Adventists who have had great light and have not walked in the light. It is those who have made great profession, but have not kept in step with their Leader, that will be spewed out of His mouth unless they repent. The message to pronounce the Seventh-Day Adventist Church Babylon, and call the people of God out of her, does not come from any heavenly messenger, or any human agent inspired by the Spirit of God." {2SM 66.2}
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins." Heb 10:26 Before a person who already had faith in Christ returned to a lifestyle of willfully breaking the Ten Commandments, did Jesus' sacrifice--His grace--cover their sins? And after that person decided to live a life of willfully disobeying Jesus' Commandments--sinning--what happened to that grace, His sacrifice for their sin? Believe His word. God bless you.
Did women also bring a sacrifice to the temple. If so , did they also kill it as the men did ? I understood it was only the men ,eg Job . Thanks great preacher . Much appreciated Pat
Nobody was worthy, we were all unbelievers as evidenced by our actions: "For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all." Rom 11:30-32 Yet even though all unrighteous, both Jews & gentiles have now obtained mercy by His grace through faith in Christ. Eph 2:8. IF we keep in memory Jesus' Gospel, our belief is an active saving faith and will NOT be in vain. 1 Cor 15:2. But what will happen to those who neglect the Gospel, whose belief is dead and IS in vain??
Only Jesus is perfect. If we sin, His law reveals drives us to the Cross. God just told you through Isaiah that ONLY those who forsake their sinful ways receive His mercy, yet you don't believe. Move into FAITH! If you still are confused between A) willingly submitting to temptation and sinning yet afterward bitterly confessing to God & repenting to change direction like King David, and B) knowing God's will yet willfully ignoring it or making excuses not to do His will, let me know.
part 2 "...and will look upon us as dishonest, as hiding our real sentiments and principles out of policy, if we carry even the semblance of being uncommitted till the popular voice has pointed out the safe way. The Comforter, the Holy Spirit, which Christ said He would send into the world, was to bear an unwavering testimony.-Manuscript 16, 1890. {CW 95.2}
Your solution is to label the church as "Babylon" and to leave it. But the problem to that is Sister White saw and understood apostasy better than any of you who left, and says the church is NOT Babylon and labelled those accusers who insist others to leave the remnant church as "greatly deceived". I've already given SOME of those quotes to NicholasPOGM.
Even our faith is a gift from God (Eph 2:8), which gift of faith He gives to EVERY man. Rom 12:3. A gift by definition is not something we can earn, but can be conditional: "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38 No repentance & baptism = no gift of the Holy Spirit. No walking in accordance with Gospel --not holding fast to the Gospel-- (1 Cor 15:1-2) = vain faith.
Yes, those who didn't remain were leading sinful lifestyles, they were not of us. That's why they left. Notice also we can do the opposite, leave Him but still pretend to be His, worshiping among the faithful, yet being dead in sin. The parable of the wheat & tares, Matt 13:24-32. So, if they did not repent of their breaking of God's law & return to Him, as He pleads such to do (Isa 44:22, Mal 3:7, Heb 6:6, Rev 2:5) then would Jesus' sacrifice remain for such who willfully sinned?
This is a good exposition of the sanctuary but I would like to be enlightened on the subject that none has gone to heaven because of the fact that the clock of judgment ticked when Christ our High Preist went into the most holy place. He said Adam was still here -correct because the Bible is silent about his death. On the other hand Enoch, Moses, Elijah was recorded that they were in heaven and the grave was opened at the resurrection of Christ. In what strength then of criterium that they were there since judgment begins when Christ enters in and start His ministry in the most holy place in heaven?
All those who lived before Christ's sacrifice and believed looked AHEAD to that day, the Cross, and were declared just by their faith. Romans ch 3, 5. Galatians ch 2 & 3. The Father knew beforehand Jesus would overcome the devil, thus all the ancient faithful could receive their reward before Christ's sacrifice.
@@Nirky I'm not saying that those Israelites were not saved. Sure they are since the tabernacle and its services pointed to Christ. They brought the animal and transfer their sins and found grace in the sight of God. The covenant is the same only in Christ the shadow finds its substance. My question was, how they were judged because judgment only begins somewhere in 1844? because it seemed to me what he was saying was there were no people in heaven prior to the entering of Christ in the sanctuary. Your verse declared them just through faith, isn't it? confusing. So now to say that Adam wasn't in heaven because judgment just started in 1844 somehow is not true, SURE Adam repented of his sins, it doesn't mean that is a ticket to heaven...Judgment was there ever since, the flood, sodom, and Gomorrah, the destruction of the Israelites at the foot of Sinai. The Patriarch was declared just and that includes Enoch. Now tell me what criterium of justification was that before the entering of Christ in the most holy place.
@@antraxhkill9985 All the righteous dead in Christ from Adam to now are sleeping in their graves, waiting for their resurrection & reward at Christ's return. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18. The few exceptions are those who have already received their reward like Enoch & Elijah, Moses and the small group that rose after Jesus died.
My question is not answered straight. The fact that those Israelites of old were judged accordingly and declared just is that of Priestly atonement happened in each year. The cleansing of the sanctuary of the recorded sin accumulated throughout the year! but if Christ failed then all those saints in heaven will fall one by one since the first fruit (Christ) didn't make it. The future of the world lied trembling in the cup of Gethsemane. Thank be to God that Christ made it though and now stands as an intercessor between man and God instead of Levitical Preist of the earthly sanctuary. By this, only the new covenant is better than the old one, not with the blood of sheep and goat but by His own blood, He enters THE MOST HOLY. We are on the same boat. God bless.
You're right, they don't preach the 3 angels message to the world, they preach only accusation. Like their father. That's what Satan does best, he hates Jesus and as he doesn't have access to Heaven anymore to accuse, we now are his targets. But as daunting as that at first can seem, in reality it's a blessing, for God is giving US the opportunity to VINDICATE HIM FROM FALSE CHARGES AND GIVE HIM GLORY! We are a SPECTACLE for all the words (1 Cor 4:9), let them see how much we love the Son!
@preachinshawn this man has been studying the word of God deeply for years. I have met him he is the real deal. He knows God and he will be in the kingdom because of his love for Christ. He has led MANY to the Saviour. You need to study more, Jesus Himself said: "Mat 10:22 ...he that ENDURETH to the END shall be saved." ur calling Christ a liar as well. it's common sense, if u PROFESS Christ but still live like the DEVIL are u REALLY a Christian? Not a chance.
And thank the Lord for His grace! Otherwise, we would all be under the penalty of the law--eternal death--because we all have broken His commandments and thus fall short of His glory. Romans 3:19, 3:23, 6:23 Q: Since Jesus has saved us by His grace alone from the penalty of the law, and since Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes, do you think we can now willfully break the law and still claim His grace?
Jesus says "If you love Me, keep My commandments." (John 14;15), for God's Ten Commandments define what constitutes "sin". Rom 3:20, 1 John 3:4, Rom 7:7-12, James 2;10-11. Jesus tells us we cannot willfully return to living a sinful lifestyle after claiming His free and unmerited gift of grace. For such a person who ignores Him, He makes it clear the consequence of returning to a sinful lifestyle which the person was saved from is the loss of His sacrifice for our that person's sin. Heb 10:26
Those whom God cannot renew to repentance can no longer from their heart genuinely seek forgiveness. It's impossible for such. They can't repent. Heb 6:6. They may appear to be seeking His forgiveness, may even cry in seeking it, but they are not sad that they have kept hurting God with their sinning, they only are sad they have been caught. Heb 12:17. Such of whom it is impossible to be renewed to repentance have grieved away the Holy Spirit. Confess & repent from the heart. God bless.
@preachinshawn What he says is true, the ceremonial Day of Atonement in Lev 16 pictured God's atonement in the gift of Christ Jesus. All whose sins enter into His temple are covered by the blood of the Lamb. That's what the day represented, that's why God had His people act out ceremonially in the earthly temple what would take place in the actual heavenly sanctuary. "And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the ATONEMENT." Romans 5:11.
So Sister White knew apostasy in the church would get worse and worse, yet knowing this she said: "The Lord has not given you a message to call the Seventh-day Adventists Babylon, and to call the people of God to come out of her. All the reasons you may present cannot have weight with me on this subject, because the Lord has given me decided light that is opposed to such a message." {2SM 63.2}
"But when I saw that they WALKED not uprightly according to the TRUTH of the GOSPEL..." Gal 2:14 It's only confusing for those who don't read Scripture.
Although in Hebrews it speaks of Him as High Priest in the most holy chamber (Hebrew 9:12) Then why the misunderstanding that 2300 years ending autumn 1844 believe he has entered into this most holy room when He is already there, as said in Hebrews The author of Hebrews understands He is already before the Most Holy. The year 1844 completing the prophecy’s time is correct, but the theology behind what occurred then undermines the gospel of an investigation and some period of probation. How so, when I am covered by the righteousness of Jesus Christ and accepting what he did on Calvary.
Some Bible versions unfortunately employ a poor translation of this verse. Hebrews 9:12, KJV: "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the HOLY PLACE, having obtained eternal redemption for us." Check out the original Greek to confirm.
Michael Toms Right, present tense because when the book of Hebrews was written 30 years after His cruxificion, Jesus had already gone into and was still in where?--the Holy Place (Heb 9:12). So the question then is, WHEN did Jesus move from the Holy Place into the Most Holy Place of His heavenly sanctuary?
Obviously all who heed Paul's admonition to believe the Gospel will be saved from their sins, but that's not what Paul is tell them here in 1 Cor 15:1-2, is it? Here Paul is WARNING those who already 1) were declared the Gospel and 2) those who already received--believed--the Gospel and 3) those who stood in the Gospel and 4) those who were already saved by the Gospel to keep in memory--to believe & walk in accordance with the Gospel--otherwise THEIR FAITH WOULD BE IN VAIN.
if Jesus paid the price of sin and sin seperates us from the Father could this be why Christ said Lord why hast thou forsaken me? so Jesus, who is part of the God head paid a much higher price for our sins than what we would have recieved as He has been seperated from his own family as part of the Godhead He was seperated from himself?
@NicholasPOGM Regarding your second point, I believe Sister White answers your false accusation better than I ever could: "The Lord has not given you a message to call the Seventh-day Adventists Babylon, and to call the people of God to come out of her. All the reasons you may present cannot have weight with me on this subject, because the Lord has given me decided light that is opposed to such a message." {2SM 63.2}
@preachinshawn All whose sins entered the temple were ceremonially shown to be forgiven. "Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered." Rom 4:7 Notice Paul is quoting from Romans chapter 4, and is talking about JUSTIFICATION. So all who have faith to confess and turn from their sins are forgiven, their sins are covered by Christ's righteousness in place of our unrighteousness. That is JUSTIFICATION.
We ended up in this sinful (sin=transgression of the law) world because of disobedience. The law said death was the penalty for transgression of the law. Jesus paid that price. If a person commits a crime, someone has to pay the penalty. If another crime is committed after the person is released from prison, they go back to prison. The only way to stay out of prison is to commit no more crimes. Same with sin and salvation. BUT, our works are no good, only Christ in us=good works.
at time code 3:12-4:00 Stephen Bohr states that we cannot be perfect so Christ came to live "for us" and to live the perfect life "for " us. His theory on that thesis is that we, mankind, cannot be perfect; but is that really so? At the conclusion of his famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus himself said that, and I quote; "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48) Now take keen note that even though Christ lived a perfect life here on a earth as a testimony and example to us, he still didn't point to himself in his message that we should be as perfect as himself, he pointed to the Heavenly Father, the Almighty God, as the perfect and only example of perfection. So was Jesus telling a lie? Did he give us a basket to fetch water? Or is it that we can become perfect if we truly make the attempt? Do your studies and research.
Listen to his words more carefully. He said the law requires perfect obedience, and none of us can offer that kind of perfection. Obviously he had Rom 3:23 in mind: for we have all sinned, and come short of the glory of God. With even one sin we need a Savior. That's why Jesus had to come down and live a perfect life for us all. Nevertheless, even though we are all sinful and imperfect, Jesus says our aim is to be perfect, as our Father in heaven is perfect. Matt 5:48. If we are in Christ, Christ is in us, and we grow in grace. 2 Peter 3:18. If we are growing in grace, that indicates we clearly haven't reached perfection, but we grow closer and closer to the perfect character of God as time goes by.
@NicholasPOGM Sometimes in Scripture you'll find righteous people kneeling and praying to the Father, and other times in Scripture you'll find righteous people STANDING and praying to the Father. Jesus raising Lazarus, John ch 11, the justified publican, Luke ch 18. The Father accepts prayers when we are in various body positions. What IS required is a prayer to Him MUST BE IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH FROM THE HEART! Those are the prayers, kneeling or standing, which are answered.
But to condemn a man simply for not kneeling, as per your accusation, is CONTRARY TO SCRIPTURE. Jesus, our perfect example in every act & attitude, did NOT kneel down every time when praying to the Father publicly. Off top of my head I think of two examples: One, the raising of Lazarus. John 11:40-44. Jesus did not kneel publicly when praying to the Father, in front of all Lazarus' mourners. If He did kneel in private beforehand, He did NOT kneel publicly.
@preachinshawn So all who accept Christ's gift of grace and purpose in the hearts to obey Jesus, repenting of their past sins and turning from them, are justified by Christ's righteousness. All those whose sins are NOT brought into the temple--sins that are NOT repented of and confessed--are NOT forgiven. We all have the opportunity to accept Christ's gift of grace, but if we still choose to live a sinful lifestyle, it shows that we did NOT believe His Gospel. Rom 6:1-4, Heb 10:26.
@preachinshawn if you believe once saved always saved, you dont agree. a man can choose to be saved and then later he can go back to his sinful life choosing to be lost. king saul did this. he was a man of God, then he backslid. thats why its called backsliding. thats why its called falling away. if ur always saved then theres nothing to fall or backslide from. if u dont believe once saved always saved then my apologies. Bohr's 'endurance salvation lie" is not a lie, it's bible.
This is serious business. How much longer will we make every and all excuses to stay as close to sin as we can, even cleaving to it? BELIEVE God's word and FORSAKE every sinful way, because Scripture makes it clear Jesus came to SAVE us FROM our sins (Matt 1:21), not in our sins. For those who keep trying to justify their ways contrary to His commandments, eventually there will remain NO sacrifice for their sin! Heb 10:26. Repent & believe the gospel!
You reason "Well the apostasy in her day wasn't bad so that's why she said the church wasn't Babylon but today its lots worse so get out". Will apostasy in the church get worse just before Jesus returns? "The great apostasy will develop into darkness deep as midnight, impenetrable as sackcloth of hair. To God’s people it will be a night of trial, a night of weeping, a night of persecution for the truth’s sake. But out of that night of darkness God’s light will shine." {COL 414.3}
I've seen those who have LEFT the remnant church like you and NicholasPOGM are driven by a spirit to ceaslessly make all kinds of various accusations against the remnant church, and in fact many of the accusations of apostasy are TRUE. The church has apostasy in it, it has from early on, and I think it will get worse and worse. We are in for a SHAKING.
"....tells us UNLESS we believe and walk in the Gospel, such "believing" is in vain" you've added -walk in the Gospel- to what Paul said and that is very confussing to say the least...we can NOT 'walk' in the Gospel bc as i said the Gospel is concerned with what Jesus Christ DID in the past ! and this popish idea that we can accept or reject the grace of God is not Biblical,read John 1:13 Rom. 9:16 and hopefuly this 'free will' stuff will vanish from your mind.
any Bible verses for this supposed "5 stage" of the work of Christ ? or we are to take mr. bohn word for it...and this 'present truth' stuff is so funny... lol ! just a reminder mr. bohr; Jesus Christ is of the tribe of Judha so 'forcing' HIM to perform what the Levite high priest was doing in the OT is utter crazyness !!! the Bible says that Christ is sitting down(the book of Hebrews) bc HE has finished and accomplished our Salvation
the Gospel is not conditional....the Gosples is a set of events that took place outside of us and in a place that many of us never been(Jerusalem)(1Cort. 15:1-4) we can not change it we can add or substract from it and yes Justification is a ONE time pronouncement that God does and we have NOTHING to do with it !!! this popish diatribe of yours is meaningless and the Bible knows not such nonsense
Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Just finished the "His Way in the Sanctuary" series. Love the way Pastor Stephen Bohr preaches, so I gotta watch some more sermons of his in regards to the sanctuary.
Thank y😊ouou
Pastor Bohr explains the sanctuary so clearly, we are blessed to have this
truth, but we need to share this with others, and allow His Spirit to use us,
while there is still time.
Amen
May the message of Present Truth be sounded loud & clear! May all of GOD's professed people look to the Sanctuary & behold CHRIST officiating therein, writing HIS Law in our hearts & minds. May we realise that HE is our all-powerful mediator.
brilliant sermon Happy Sabbath from UK btw ive been self isolating since 2011 so not that much of a change for me ..stay safe in these virus ridden times
amazingly precise studies of Pastor Bohr great preachers like walter veith and ivor myers
faith(or more easily: belief) is a GIFT from GOD so we(christians) will have it in our mind bc God has put in there !!!
so there is NO condition of any kind
God's free gift of grace can either be accepted or rejected.
"By which also ye are saved, IF ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain." 1 Cor 15:2
Paul in no uncertain terms tells us UNLESS we believe and walk in the Gospel, such "believing" is in vain. It's a useless, false, dead faith, a rejection of His grace.
IF, on the other hand, we BELIEVE and WALK in the Gospel, we accept Jesus' free gift and enter into life.
"When the minister enters, it should be with dignified, solemn mien. He should bow down in silent prayer as soon as he steps into the pulpit, and earnestly ask help of God. What an impression this will make!" {Pr 205.4}
I agree it would make for a better impression, and I'm sure most ministers pray on their knees privately before their public prayer prior to their sermons.
@Jedidiah Kevin Instablaster ;)
@Roman Randall Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now.
Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Roman Randall it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much you really help me out!
Matt 24:13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Words of the Lord.
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain." 1 Cor 15:1-2
We are saved by the Gospel IF we keep it in memory, if we believe and walk in it.
Amen im blessed by this sermon. Now i understood why the seventh day adventist church insisted on keeping the 10 commandments of God
Thanks Pastor
Amen!!! thank you for this message Nirky!
Exactly, Christ in us.
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Gal 2:20
If Jesus lives in us by His Holy Spirit we will live more and more as Jesus lived, a lifestyle opposite of sin, of keeping His commandments.
I WAS SHOWN IN A DREAM: READ IT
Dream - In the church on bed
January 29, 2022, before woke up at 4:30pm on Sabbath afternoon
I had been praying to God to make me provision to go to church and worship Him on every Sabbath, with my family during this pandemic time.
@710moz
Amen.
@ 34:40
AMEN......
In your opinions and faith there must not be the least appearance of wavering; the world has a right to know what to expect of us,..."
(cont...)
let me say this again : belief(faith) is a GIFT from GOD
in Rom. 11:29 the same Paul says that the gifts and calling of God are without repentance(GOD will not change His mind) so what God gives can not be taken away by Him,nor by any of us for that matter
you have to remember that many of the 'conditions' and warrnings that you see in NT are bc the writers were writting to the professing(many are called but few chosen) church,inside of that group we have the possessing church(the elect)
Hebrews 6:6
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
@preachinshawn
Salvation consists of two aspects: pardon & reclamation.
Amen.
"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?" Js 2:14
so...here's James' analogy:
"If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled;
notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." Js 2:15-17
Jesus in us compels us opposite of self & sin.
If we do sin, we confess & repent, and by His grace our high priest Jesus is just and faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness .1 John 1:9
"What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid." Rom 6:15.
We absolutely cannot live a lifestyle of willfully breaking God's law and expect His grace to cover our sins. No more sacrifice remains for a willful sinner. God can give no more than He already has in Jesus.
and written upon HIS thigh is "KING OF KINGS" LORD OF LORDS" praying for all who are on this earth if this (Covid19) is just the beginning of sorrows then we really need to hurry and get right and ready for that small dark cloud coming out of the east about the size of a mans fist
Amen, and even if it isn't the beginning of sorrows, we still need to get ready.
i was very explicit about warrnings in the NT
some of the 'problems' that the church in Corinth had was the resurrection of the body and even went as far as to say that resurrection is not true 1Cort. 15:12-13,so Paul does set up the arguments for the resurrection of the body from the begging of chp. 15 by reminding them what the Gospel is(part of the Gospel has to do with the resurrection of the body of Christ)
now we see that what they tought to be 'in vain' was actually not
Ah but you know I can't take any credit for this message, neither can Pr. Bohr, as the glory belongs to God alone, but I'm happy to have some small part in this. God bless!
with the Gospel one can either belive it or not,GOD has HIS elect and those elect ones will believe the Gospel the rest are left in their sins.
Hello guys
Luke 8
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
Can somebody tell me ,when did the SDA church started? And who started? Please ,thank you, (few things I need to know before I join,)
From Wikipedia:
"The Seventh-day Adventist Church is the largest of several Adventist groups which arose from the Millerite movement of the 1840s in upstate New York, a phase of the Second Great Awakening.
[Bible students from various denominations around the world in the early 1800's saw that Daniel's 2300-year prophesy would end in 1844 and thought it meant Christ would return that year. Miller, a Baptist preacher, was perhaps the most well known of these.]
William Miller predicted on the basis of Daniel 8:14-16 and the "day-year principle" that Jesus Christ would return to Earth between the spring of 1843 and the spring of 1844.
Love for truth ? The SDA Church was officially started in 1863 by Miller

"....which gift of faith He gives to EVERY man. Rom 12:3."
to every men that were among them at Rome not everymen that ever lived right ???
(so we understand each other!!!)
It's not ignoring anything, it's believing God's clear word. Did David live a lifestyle of continuous, unrepentant sin? Or, did he repent painfully, from the heart, when he fell, and let Jesus in him through the Holy Spirit direct his life?
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
That is heartfelt confession & repentance.
Greetings,
Ellen White was adamant that for the good of the S.D.A. movement “new light” must come, in her writings there is the kernel of this new light, its called 'Unusual Statement on the Scapegoat'.
@NicholasPOGM
"The message to the Laodiceans is applicable to Seventh-day Adventists who have had great light and have not walked in the light. It is those who have made great profession, but have not kept in step with their Leader, that will be spewed out of His mouth unless they repent. The message to pronounce the Seventh-Day Adventist Church Babylon, and call the people of God out of her, does not come from any heavenly messenger, or any human agent inspired by the Spirit of God." {2SM 66.2}
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins." Heb 10:26
Before a person who already had faith in Christ returned to a lifestyle of willfully breaking the Ten Commandments, did Jesus' sacrifice--His grace--cover their sins?
And after that person decided to live a life of willfully disobeying Jesus' Commandments--sinning--what happened to that grace, His sacrifice for their sin?
Believe His word. God bless you.
Did women also bring a sacrifice to the temple. If so , did they also kill it as the men did ? I understood it was only the men ,eg Job . Thanks great preacher . Much appreciated Pat
Nobody was worthy, we were all unbelievers as evidenced by our actions:
"For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all." Rom 11:30-32
Yet even though all unrighteous, both Jews & gentiles have now obtained mercy by His grace through faith in Christ.
If you still are confused between A) willingly submitting to temptation and sinning yet afterward bitterly confessing to God & repenting to change direction like King David, and B) knowing God's will yet willfully ignoring it or making excuses not to do His will, let me know.
part 2
"...and will look upon us as dishonest, as hiding our real sentiments and principles out of policy, if we carry even the semblance of being uncommitted till the popular voice has pointed out the safe way. The Comforter, the Holy Spirit, which Christ said He would send into the world, was to bear an unwavering testimony.-Manuscript 16, 1890. {CW 95.2}
"to believe & walk in accordance with the Gospel--"
i see you keep misquoting that verse in Gal. why is that?
Your solution is to label the church as "Babylon" and to leave it.
But the problem to that is Sister White saw and understood apostasy better than any of you who left, and says the church is NOT Babylon and labelled those accusers who insist others to leave the remnant church as "greatly deceived". I've already given SOME of those quotes to NicholasPOGM.
Even our faith is a gift from God (Eph 2:8), which gift of faith He gives to EVERY man. Rom 12:3.
A gift by definition is not something we can earn, but can be conditional:
"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38
No repentance & baptism = no gift of the Holy Spirit.
You need to study more, Jesus Himself said: "Mat 10:22 ...he that ENDURETH to the END shall be saved."
ur calling Christ a liar as well.
it's common sense, if u PROFESS Christ but still live like the DEVIL are u REALLY a Christian? Not a chance.
And thank the Lord for His grace! Otherwise, we would all be under the penalty of the law--eternal death--because we all have broken His commandments and thus fall short of His glory. Romans 3:19, 3:23, 6:23
Q: Since Jesus has saved us by His grace alone from the penalty of the law, and since Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes, do you think we can now willfully break the law and still claim His grace?
God bless.
@preachinshawn
What he says is true, the ceremonial Day of Atonement in Lev 16 pictured God's atonement in the gift of Christ Jesus.
So Sister White knew apostasy in the church would get worse and worse, yet knowing this she said:
"The Lord has not given you a message to call the Seventh-day Adventists Babylon, and to call the people of God to come out of her. All the reasons you may present cannot have weight with me on this subject, because the Lord has given me decided light that is opposed to such a message." {2SM 63.2}
"But when I saw that they WALKED not uprightly according to the TRUTH of the GOSPEL..." Gal 2:14
It's only confusing for those who don't read Scripture.
Hebrews 9:12, KJV: "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the HOLY PLACE, having obtained eternal redemption for us."
Check out the original Greek to confirm.
Is Jesus interceeding for us before the Lord Almighty?
οὐδὲ δι’αἵματος τράγων καὶ μόσχων διὰ δὲ τοῦ ἰδίου αἵματος εἰσῆλθεν ἐφάπαξ εἰς τὰ ἅγια αἰωνίαν λύτρωσιν εὑράμενος (Hebrew 9:12) all in the present tense and not future tense.
Here Paul is WARNING those who already
1) were declared the Gospel and
2) those who already received--believed--the Gospel and
3) those who stood in the Gospel and
4) those who were already saved by the Gospel
to keep in memory--to believe & walk in accordance with the Gospel--otherwise THEIR FAITH WOULD BE IN VAIN.
if Jesus paid the price of sin and sin seperates us from the Father could this be why Christ said Lord why hast thou forsaken me? so Jesus, who is part of the God head paid a much higher price for our sins than what we would have recieved as He has been seperated from his own family as part of the Godhead He was seperated from himself?
@NicholasPOGM
Regarding your second point, I believe Sister White answers your false accusation better than I ever could:
"The Lord has not given you a message to call the Seventh-day Adventists Babylon, and to call the people of God to come out of her. All the reasons you may present cannot have weight with me on this subject, because the Lord has given me decided light that is opposed to such a message." {2SM 63.2}
@preachinshawn
All whose sins entered the temple were ceremonially shown to be forgiven.
"Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered." Rom 4:7
Notice Paul is quoting from Romans chapter 4, and is talking about JUSTIFICATION. So all who have faith to confess and turn from their sins are forgiven, their sins are covered by Christ's righteousness in place of our unrighteousness. That is JUSTIFICATION.
Not quoting Gal 2:14, summarizing 1 Cor 15:2. Quoting = " ". If you can summarize v2 better, go right ahead.
@NicholasPOGM
Sometimes in Scripture you'll find righteous people kneeling and praying to the Father, and other times in Scripture you'll find righteous people STANDING and praying to the Father. Jesus raising Lazarus, John ch 11, the justified publican, Luke ch 18.
The Father accepts prayers when we are in various body positions. What IS required is a prayer to Him MUST BE IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH FROM THE HEART! Those are the prayers, kneeling or standing, which are answered.
to bad most people think the Creator's calendar has been nailed to the cross.
God tells us it was His ORDINANCES (Col 2:14) like Passover (Numbers 9:14) which were against us and therefore taken away.
But to condemn a man simply for not kneeling, as per your accusation, is CONTRARY TO SCRIPTURE. Jesus, our perfect example in every act & attitude, did NOT kneel down every time when praying to the Father publicly. Off top of my head I think of two examples:
One, the raising of Lazarus. John 11:40-44. Jesus did not kneel publicly when praying to the Father, in front of all Lazarus' mourners. If He did kneel in private beforehand, He did NOT kneel publicly.
@preachinshawn
So all who accept Christ's gift of grace and purpose in the hearts to obey Jesus, repenting of their past sins and turning from them, are justified by Christ's righteousness.
You reason "Well the apostasy in her day wasn't bad so that's why she said the church wasn't Babylon but today its lots worse so get out".
Will apostasy in the church get worse just before Jesus returns?
"The great apostasy will develop into darkness deep as midnight, impenetrable as sackcloth of hair. To God’s people it will be a night of trial, a night of weeping, a night of persecution for the truth’s sake. But out of that night of darkness God’s light will shine." {COL 414.3}
"....tells us UNLESS we believe and walk in the Gospel, such "believing" is in vain"
you've added -walk in the Gospel- to what Paul said and that is very confussing to say the least...we can NOT 'walk' in the Gospel bc as i said the Gospel is concerned with what Jesus Christ DID in the past !
and this popish idea that we can accept or reject the grace of God is not Biblical,read John 1:13 Rom.
we can not change it we can add or substract from it
and yes Justification is a ONE time pronouncement that God does and we have NOTHING to do with it !!!
this popish diatribe of yours is meaningless and the Bible knows not such nonsense
Hebrews 6:6
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
