On a good note Johan is such a good friend and employee , he seems very willing to help his friend do the impossible even if it means a lot of fab work for himself and even if it isn’t the most rational decision in their situation

Johan is just as emotionally invested in that car as Adam is. He commented as soon as the car rolled into the shop after the wreck, that this was the first car he ever worked on for Adam. I think Johan understands and shares the emotional attachment that we all have to random hunks of metal.

Seeing Joel's project be a part of a mad dash to is going to be insane to witness via videos, let alone to see run in 2 weeks! I'm sure I'll speak for any automotive enthusiast on the planet and say everyone's rooting for this underdog story. Please don't skip the good parts of the build up, and major shoutout to Joel for doing anything and everything to keep E36 superior in any way, shape, or form. If you haven't followed Joel on FB/IG, seen his builds/drifts, or got to meet him, you're missing out. Been a pleasure watching the homie glow up!
As someone who has raced many cars and been a part of big race teams. there's really only one thing that sets a team apart for others and that's how you bounce back from an accident or mistakes. Holding your head high and walking into the next round of FD with the accomplishment of building a new car in a short amount of time and beating the odds in my opinion is a memory that bonds a team together and proves you deserve to be there. Keep up the good work!
Well said. I too have played a role in achieving the impossible with race cars. The sense of accomplishment can’t be overstated. The look on competitors faces when they see you’re team made it to the next race is worth every drop of blood, sweat, and tears X10.
I’ve been one the guys building a new car from a bare chassis in a few days when it should’ve took a few weeks minimum and it’s definitely not something most are willing to do

@@darkworld3888 I mean Adam said he basically traded him another shell and some cash, lol. He lost all the hard work of putting the cage in and welding it, but that's about it it looked like.
Adam bought Drift HQ as a whole (so he does own it) but he mentioned before he has a business partner aka investor? (not sure if that means Drift HQ or for LZMFG only or both). Duarte stayed on as the head (director of sorts) if I'm not mistaken.

My first ever FD event I’ve been able to attend was St. Louis last weekend. I was so excited to see Adam was coming to drive here, I hate that he crashed such an iconic car, but Wa thankful I got to see him drive at all. Can’t wait to see the come back!!

I've been following drifting for about 5 - 6 years now and first now i´ve started watching your channel. And i must say, i think i found my favorite channel ever. Very emotional flashback´s on the e36. Sorry for your loss man! Good luck in the future of your drifting!
Bro, I am more than hyped for this. Crazy story. I remember when you got that e36, and I thought finally Adam has an e36 and a 1J of his own lol, then it spiraled and klutch kickers, and then you bringing it to FD finally. You have progressed so much with this car, and I know it was the one you least expected to do that in the beginning. Your determination is inspiring, and I'm so glad you're going through with this and the team agreed and is hyped on this. As a fan, I'm totally hyped and gonna support in anyway I can.

Your team is absolutely the best. They were so disappointed by the accident, but every one of them are there for the comeback. I never had an interest in drifting or any jdm stuff until I saw you with z-roy at a cletus event, and you've had me hooked ever since, to the point that i went back in time and watched a bunch of your old videos. Everyone was good. I have even been looking at getting a jdm luxury car for myself as I'm old enough to be most everyone on the crew's dad.

They're some of the best you can crew up and get shit done, I love it and the passion you all share getting the e36 back
In case you didn't know, Adam is sneakily in 7th place in the FD standings. Reshelling and hopping back on the horse is a no brainer when he's got a legit shot to finish top 3 for the season.

Would be interesting to see how competitive he could be in the s15 now he's a better driver, last time he drove it in fd he wasn't anywhere close to as good as he is now

I'm glad we didn't, Adam is NOT comfortable driving that S15 but people refuse to accept it, he is just a master on the E36!

Definitively needs to go into the conference room, it could be on display at the compound but it’ll slowly decay over time, this being such an inspirational car needs to be forever with us and be detailed and watched out every day at morning conferences! Great full to see the team have this challenge accepted to be on Seattle

Hell yeah man, I was kinda bummed at the beginning of the season when you said you were going to run a limited schedule and then as the season went on it seemed you found you’re passion and love for drifting in comp again because you switched to a chassis you had so much seat time in, glad you and your team are taking on the challenge! And it’s awesome to see that you’re not giving up especially since you are top 10 in points!!!!! Go get some Adam!!!!
One of the best looking if not the best drift E36s for sure. BUT there is no way it looks better than the S15.. That yellow thing is literally the best looking drift car of mine that I have ever seen.

With time almost anything is fixable. But is it even worth it and as Adam said it’s FD days are likely over. Maybe he’ll make it a seat time car. The Blue e36 is twisted and cracked from front to back. Like 70% of the car needs to replaced with a new shell. It’s easier just to build another chassis.
I’m so excited for this series!! And I think the e36 should be put in the container at the compound that they put seats on to spectate drifting and cut the side off if it with a plexiglass window.

This reminds me of Tuerck turning the street frs into his pro car after totalling the pro chassis. It was so sick seeing him pull out on track after all that work and itll be even more rad for you! Go and get that podium! Also turn the blue e36 into a SIM rig!
