On the “low proof” extras barrel aged cocktails. Ryes do an aged manhattan. Bourbon do an aged old-fashioned. They are great gifts for entry level drinkers and you can maximize your extras/leftovers
Might be able to salvage the bad barrels by redistilling it like the crowded barrel guys making the Phoenix blend. Since it's softened up and you can get rid of the flavors you don't want and rebarrel into some new or used barrels.
TJ from TJ - I really love the journey you are taking with your team.... to go from loving bourbon, sharing bourbon reviews, bourbon hunting and now making your own brand....truly remarkable to watch and I think I can say for everyone doing it in a very humble way. I wish you and your team nothing but success and we will be watching. Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving.
I would suggest making some Cherry Bounce or other liqueurs with the dusty whiskey. Very popular right now and an innovative way to introduce ppl to the spirit.
I’m going to try my uncut again then. I bought two bottles and I thought it was just okay but maybe it opened up as it has been about 2 weeks since my last pour.
I love how he doesn't like if it's not distilled by the brand. But technically he didn't distill his own, so would he even buy is own brand if roles were reversed?
dusty roads whisky,, blended in red oak barrels for an extra sweetness,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, im a long time trim carpenter, in other words i cut fine wood,,, the red oak is the sweetest smelling imo, but truthfully to help develop a whole host of other flavors you should barrel with different type of woods, red oak, white oak, hickory, pecan, cherry, ash, maybe even cedar, also, you could grow your corn or source it from colder climates,, studies prove that food harvested in cold temps increase the flavor, sure the yield suffers, but the flavor is thru the roof, if you want the best, you gotta go the distance,, dig the vids, God bless
This reminds me of Caldwell's "Lost & Found" cigars. Mr. Caldwell buys old stock from differnet companies and rebrands them as new. So you could buy a "new" box of cigars from him, and they could be 15 years old or older, great company.
For a super dusty craft whiskey this is what I would do... head to the nearest walmart for a brand new Britta pitcher filter, then head to the liquor store for a fifth of Everclear to flush the filter with 190 (because you don't want to add more color to your already aged whiskey). Once the filter runs clear, start filtering that dusty whiskey. Cut to taste with water from the nearest river with limestone bedrock. The limestone will make the water sweet and will help pull back what ever remains of that dust after filtering. I've traveled to 49 out of fifty states and i've tasted just about every brand of bottled water there is from all over the world. I swear to you the sweetest water on this earth is from the top of crabtree falls right here in virginia. Smack in the middle of the Shenandoah valley. The falls cut through 100% Blue Ridge Mountain limestone rock. This water is the sweetest by a country mile. Hopefully you won't have to go below 100 proof but go to 95 or 90 if you have to. If you want to simply try and hide the dusty flavor, then finish in vermouth barrels. The burban will need to be a high rye for this to taste good. Good luck and let me know if I can never take you to the top of crab tree falls one day to taste that sweet water. You might want it for your bourbon.
Spring blend: Honey, floral, light and maybe a little buttery mouth feel Summer blend: Big focus on citrus (maybe even a VDN finish) “thin” confectionery sugar for sweetness Fall blend: Double oaked or rye blend and finish in port wine Winter blend: Just like you said. Cigar blend
Guinness intentionly sous 3% of their beer with lactobacillus to give it a slight sour finish, which os why some Irish bars add a drop of vinegar to accentuate the finish.
Maple Syrup finished may take the dusty taste away. Also I've had a yuengling barrel finished whiskey that was fantastic. Def finish it....just not in tabasco barrels lol
Check out the Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout release this year. The lineup releases each year on Black Friday and this year has some special picks. I saw you point out a BCBS Biscotti in a video a few weeks ago. Last year they did Eagle Rare and Angel’s Envy releases. This beer is what got me into bourbon 🍻
With the crappy, dusty whiskey barrels I’d double oak them (or just over oak in general) and honeycomb finish (softening it and pulling the wood tannins out). It’ll be a vastly different product but much better
TJ…now that you’re a bona fide distillery owner, I hope you don’t start skimping on the videos. I’m sure I’m speaking for a lot of people here when I say KEEP THEM COMING we love your videos !!
I would say that putting someone's name on a bottle, so that so the next time they're shopping they can say oh That's Mike or that's TJ and I like his stuff
Brewzle, I frequently hear to describe a tasting note as dusty. Is that tasting note or more of a mouth feel? When looking up dusty bourbon it always references old bottles that have actual dust on it. TIA
I’ve only ever had a dusty note one time and it was on a rye. The dusty went away after the bottle opened up. For me it was a tasting note and literally tasted like how a dusty basement smells.
I love the “almost” 7 years old. It’s 6, lol. Like saying my kid is 52 months old.. Another TJ t-shirt is one that says”It’s not bad. I don’t love it, but it’s not bad.”
Thank you so much for this amazing video! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
If you drill a hole or two in the uper top of the barrel it would empty three times faster..... Did he said in other videos how much they've paid for the whole stuff..??
You can save OVER $100 with Original Grain. They’re running a $100 off Black Friday sale but you can use code BREWZLE to get an extra 10% off, go to www.originalgrain.com/brewzle!
Put me down for a few bottles of the aged Gin and the Sorghum Whiskey! I'll fly down to pick them up.
Love this, my 2 favourite Utubers definitely need to do a colab.
Bump!
Dude, I can't believe the journey you are on! Keep it up!!!
Use those dusty barrels to make a really good, high proof, premade old fashion mix like Bulleit makes. Those things are delicious!
Man TJ out here livin' the dream!
Congrats Brewzle! 🥃

Brewzle, you know how ol smokey makes moonshine cherries? Maybe sweeten up the bourbon you don't like as much and make soaked jarred fruit?
Peaches are great!
@ or also tangential to the fruit idea like he could do a bourbon and peach jam
I would suggest making some Cherry Bounce or other liqueurs with the dusty whiskey. Very popular right now and an innovative way to introduce ppl to the spirit.
20:27 you could finish them in say a peach or grape brandy barrel!!
Let's go can't wait to see it on our store shelves.
The smell of the whiskey barrels being opened must be heavenly.
I'm proud of you brewz you're living the dream I applaud you
Congratulations, and it appears to be coming together....wish you all the success in the world...
Need some more Frey Uncut on the site brotha! I swear the bottle opens up into a sweet roll after a week, absolutely delicious.
Facts
They’re ranch is about 30 min from me but I haven’t had the uncut yet.
I agree totally, I ordered a bottle from Frey directly
I’m going to try my uncut again then. I bought two bottles and I thought it was just okay but maybe it opened up as it has been about 2 weeks since my last pour.
It's funny how critical he is on most bourbon, but ever sip on this video is fantastic, lol
Most of the stuff we tasted that day was very good. We did try a couple barrels that weren't good. You see that when we try the 10 yr wheat whiskeys.
A true salesman.
I believe that's called "Conflict of interest". He might be completely honest and truthful, but credibility still takes a hit.
What video you watch.
I love how he doesn't like if it's not distilled by the brand. But technically he didn't distill his own, so would he even buy is own brand if roles were reversed?
Perfect. You can make some ridiculous side note on the bottle like Jefferson does.
Moved via truck cross country blend.
Cheers🤣
TJ you’re starting a brilliant journey!
How exciting Brewzle!! Let's go! I'm right up the street.
As a Kansan that grows sorghum, I'm really excited about some of these barrels.
dusty roads whisky,, blended in red oak barrels for an extra sweetness,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I’m so happy for you! And the content is great. It’s a win-win, brother. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next.
Man congrats doing big things even since I've been watching few months Brewzle youre my hero
I am so envious of them barrels, so clean and so nice. I gotta go build some stuff now to get it out of my system today
Most stouts are best enjoyed on a COLD night with a love one (who happens to love those types of beers) and maybe a nice fire in the chimney
I really enjoyed John Emerald’s malt and agave spirit at the festival! Hope to try more from them as well as Oak Bowery in the near future!!
This reminds me of Caldwell's "Lost & Found" cigars. Mr. Caldwell buys old stock from differnet companies and rebrands them as new. So you could buy a "new" box of cigars from him, and they could be 15 years old or older, great company.
Man makes me miss living in Auburn! Disliked 98% of my time there, but Opelika is just awesome. Keep up the great work.

Love it!
For the spring put it in a honey barrel, with that floral notes barrel. I would buy that immediately.
Sour stouts are my favorite sours by far. Jolly Pumpkin Brewing out of Michigan has 2 that are amazing
Guinness intentionly sous 3% of their beer with lactobacillus to give it a slight sour finish, which os why some Irish bars add a drop of vinegar to accentuate the finish.
Congrats TJ. Crazy to see this type of journey in such a short time.
Maple Syrup finished may take the dusty taste away. Also I've had a yuengling barrel finished whiskey that was fantastic. Def finish it....just not in tabasco barrels lol
Yayyyy I wish I was apart of the discord/donation group too be able too get ahold of this but it’s all good my fault I’m glad TJ is popping off
Wow that’s really cool can’t wait for the finished product.
Congratulations! 🎉

Great prerecorded video must be a few months old whiskey didn't come out good according to him but he learned alot can't wait for the good stuff
This video was filmed in the first week of October, about 2 weeks before the festival.
Those are some fun beers, love it.
With the crappy, dusty whiskey barrels I’d double oak them (or just over oak in general) and honeycomb finish (softening it and pulling the wood tannins out). It’ll be a vastly different product but much better
If you have whiskey you don't want to bottle you should can a mixed cocktail with them. Brewzle Bourbon and Cola
Lol...Dorothy's Blend..."we're not in Kansas anymore". Four blends: Tin Man, Lion, Scarecrow, Dorothy..
I actually love this! 😅
Sounds very promising❤
Gotta try that John emerald!!! 🎉
Should finish all the dusty crafty stuff in Amburana 😂😂😂
Now i just really want some of the cherry cider 😋
TJ…now that you’re a bona fide distillery owner, I hope you don’t start skimping on the videos. I’m sure I’m speaking for a lot of people here when I say KEEP THEM COMING we love your videos !!
I bet the whiskey coming out of that barrel smells amazing.
maybe double oak the dusty stuff, put in a 2nd barrel and age it again, if that is financially possible.
congrats to new beginnings
I would say that putting someone's name on a bottle, so that so the next time they're shopping they can say oh That's Mike or that's TJ and I like his stuff
Any chance I can get a few bottles of cherry cider would love to try it, same for the gin
Can I get a "Bung Wreckers" t-shirt? 🤣
OLOROSSO SHERRY TENDA TO DO VERY WELL BLINF WITH FOLKS THAT HA E MODERATE EXPERIENCE, it provides sweetness and complexity beyond base flavors.
Dang I feel like I was working watching this so much goes into running a distillery and now I got a find me some dusty whiskey
I love the “almost” 7 years old. It’s 6, lol. Like saying my kid is 52 months old..
Another TJ t-shirt is one that says”It’s not bad. I don’t love it, but it’s not bad.”
Will support by buying brewzle bourbon !
idk how to feel about a chocolate sour
guess ive been out of the craft beer scene for too long lol
I think that wheat state might really pick up in a Sherry barrel
Could be a great opportunity to cuddle up with some staves and/or wine barrels.
Please please deliver to the UK
As a wichita resident I have to find a bottle that uses some of this wheat state distillate
Same here 😁👍🏻
When do you see selling anything? I would love to try an early release!
“Bella’s Batch”
It was made when his daughter was born and he was going to bottle it when she turned 21 years old!
How do I get some of the barrel aged gin?
That dusty stuff lets make it a Toddy! Old Dominicks has a great example
BBW... My favorite
I know that watch ad wasn’t done in Alabama 😂
Old fashioned premix… 2 Liters!
A Facebook group I'm in just did a pick with old dominic

Thank you so much for this amazing video! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
If there isn't a bottle released called the Bungwrecker you're missing out on an opportunity
A year more on the IPA? It would no longer have the characteristics of an IPA. At that point it would become barrel aged ale.
All hail bungholio
Would putting the smaller barrels together in a bigger barrel do anything?
Why was the commercial spot’s video inverted? 😮
😃😃😃😃
J Roc got redder and redder as the video went on 😂😂
It was pretty sunny out that day and my skin gets red during exposure.
And alcohol....
Local shop has Weller 12 barrel pick for $199 is that a good deal?
Probably not a good deal. That being said, I’ve never seen a pick of the 12 before. I would probably it lol
1:58 who’s dexcom lmao PTSD
Where are you in the sponsor video it looks awesome
If you drill a hole or two in the uper top of the barrel it would empty three times faster..... Did he said in other videos how much they've paid for the whole stuff..??
Bung Wrecker Bourbon
The bung hole! Hahaha
Where’s the best bourbon in Animal Kingdom? I think I just saw you.
Interesting how the whiskey gets better the longer the video goes on.....
We were taking small sips and not really going back to them. But the Old Dominick barrels really did get progressively better.
