This catalog feels so wholesome compared to the way we shop online now. Think of how much effort went into creating this catalog, with all the long descriptions for each item! I was born in '85 and I once read an article that listed the most popular toy for each year, and Cabbage Patch was the toy for '85...this catalog confirms it! The pages with the children's Christmas outfits were so cute. Thank you for this awesome hour-long blast to the past...I will probably come back and watch it again when I'm stressed!
This video was a lot of fun reminiscing on old times. I laughed and smiled when you said you wanted your style to look like what was shown as I was like geez we are a lot alike. I was 9 at the time in 85 and all I wore was stirrup pants, leggings and big sweaters and I also wore this one shirt that had a collar and 80's sunglasses all over it LOL. I still have a picture of me in that shirt and a huge wave in my bangs LOL. I thought I was so cool LOL Goodtimes indeed. Thanks for posting :)
Yes! I was born in 76 too! My sister just found some vintage fabric with rainbow hearts all over it and I told her she should make an oversized shirt and wear a big sweater vest and stirrup pants with it. She's looking for a sweater vest now! 😁

This is a really funny story about Stirrup pants, ok one day my mom was in her room and she goes Jenn come in here I have a question for you.. I was like ok, and she proceeds to bring out a bunch of stirrup pants out of her closet, and she was like do you think If I cut them off they could be used again? I died laughing, and I was like please for God's sake step away from the stirrup pants! Needless to say I never saw them again LOL. :)
Jodi, The worst Outfit in this Sear Wish Book Catalog is F Dress @ 8:31 because I so agree it is really ugly and @ 10:00 very ugly Pajamas!! However, I have many favorites like ALL the Strawberry Shortcake Clocks as well as Watches, ALL the Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Ginny Dolls, Royal Princess Sparkles and her fairies, Dream Time Barbie with her pink Teddy Bear, Garfield Plush with Pooky his Teddy Bear, Garfield Clock, Holly Hobbie Kitchen Ware, My Little Pony Dream Castle with Ponies, like Majesty that I bought at my Church Thrift Shop, Hello Kitty Plush, and the Glow Worms:)!! Thank you Jodi for sharing this very fun, nostalgic Wish Book:)!! As a Child, my Friend Dawn and I would spend HOURS looking at all our Favorite toys:)!!!

Waiting for the mailman to bring it to us young kids and teenagers. also sharing it with our friends and Marking everything that we all want for Christmas. Why are parents used to get mad at us and they will see if you continue to ruin those catalogs Santa's not bringing you nothing for Christmas. Great times back then like really, moms are special.
Honestly that pink criss cross dress was hideous, but a couple pages further the red prairie jammers that look like an altar boy outfit were a close second and sure to keep your virtue intact i'm sure! And I looove the unibrow guys!!! LOL I honestly think it looks so hot! Nothing worst than a guy with plucked brows it looks so femenine... Gimme an 0's hunk any day but no BTS type boys for me! LOL
LMAO -You can punch Rocky in his stupid Rocky face! LOL Those vintage early Legos are not worth a lot I find them in box all the time in the markets here in my country...
