Venus and Jupiter came together for a rare conjunction, as the brightest planet in our solar system came closer to the Moon as seen from the sky. As the celestial bodies are closer to each other, this conjunction has been observed in many parts of the world.
As Venus slowly disappeared behind the moon's dark rim, the two objects merged into one view. Although Venus is one of the brightest objects in the evening sky, the Moon has almost 250 times its brightness due to its proximity to our planet.
