    Frank's free consultation is really helpful and he takes the time to answer your question and makes sure you have the best the shot to getting into your law enforcement career. I would suggest acquiring his extra consulting if you're serious. The process to be an Officer or a Deputy is very difficult and long and his knowledge is very informative. I'm glad I took the time to reach out to him and spoke to him personally one on one through zoom. I turned in my background check on the 13th and still waiting for a response. I'm certain the info he provided made the difference in my process towards my Law Enforcement Career. Thank you Frank. I am certain you'll assist many more applicants. I'm in my 40's so don't think you're too old. Get or stay in shape and you will still stand a good chance.

    Hello, I really enjoy watching your videos. I was previously in the background process with a department while I was working at my current job. However, my current employer offered me a promotion to encourage me to stay, and I decided to accept it. Therefore, I removed myself from the hiring process for the other job. Now, things aren't going as smoothly as I had hoped at my current workplace, and I'm considering reapplying for the position at the same department. Do you think it will be challenging to go through the application process a second time? Or have an effect?

    • @armogantraining7164
      @armogantraining7164  5 месяцев назад +1

      Some departments do not let individuals reapply within a certain time frame if they withdraw others tend to be hesitant if you did withdraw previously

    I know this question is a year late, but what if a company is no longer in business (permanently closed) and how would the investigator go about contacting them?

      You would just provide them with the last known accurate information. And advise they no longer exist.

    I just realized I forgot to list 3 department’s on my personal history statement that I applied to over 5 years ago. They were application only and I just realized for the past 2 years of applying that I have not been listing them. Do you think agencies will find those 3 applications even though they were application only?

    • @armogantraining7164
      @armogantraining7164  2 года назад +3

      @@cidoserna7065 yes they will be able to look at the earlier applications. No listing them will not be the end of the world , but you may want to start thinking about how you plan to articulate why you did not list them. Saying I forgot about them usually does not work out well as most of the time we look at it as you are trying to hide something. However a simple explanations such as I never began the process with those agencies and only submitted an online application, I did not think they were required to be listed. This should cover it as long as it true and meets your criteria.

    I applied to 2 agencies. On the first application I put less college credits than I actually had by mistake and i also forgot to add that I was in the criminal justice magnet program at my high school. For the second application everything was the same except the fact that I added those two things that I missed in my first application. Will that hurt me in any way? Both of the agencies reached back for a PT test but I’m not sure if that would affect me later on In the process

    When COVID 19 hit I became homeless and because of that I haven't done my taxes. Is that an automatic disqualification? I'm actually in the background investigation process right now

    • @armogantraining7164
      @armogantraining7164  Год назад +1

      So this will make you run into issues and even get disqualified. Not the homeless part but the tax returns. Go to a local tax professional that doesn’t charge to much and have them file make up tax returns that should alleviate the issue. You will have to explain it but once it’s squared away, explain your story and no one will question it.

    I messed up the dates on my previous hob section, they didn’t seem to care too much as they let me correct it in the paper application. I did make sure though to answer honestly the last time I smoked was because I know they’ll find out and they accepted my application without a problem. From what I have noticed they don’t necessarily care if you have smoked they care much more if you will be honest about it, if you’ll lie about that what else will you lie about?

      Thanks for the comment. This is perfect point to make. Not all departments will reject an applicant based on minor issues. Now is a good time to apply due to the fact that departments are low on officers. They are more willing to work with candidate.
