Cruising and Loitering, The White Rim Trail

We did a family mountain bike adventure on the famous White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park near Moab, Utah. My wife, Noelle, and I pedaled with our 15 year high school son, our college grad daughter and 9 other strangers. It was super fun. We did it with the tour company Western Spirit, they are a top notch company and we had a great time. They take care of everything, but the pedaling. You can bring your own camping gear and bikes or rent bikes and gear from them. The food was great. There was river swimming, short hikes and so many viewpoints, there is so much to see on this trip. There were a few climbs, but what I remember most was the sense of rhythm and speed that you feel as you pedal on this trail.
