My Morrison with a 3hp Briggs has the choke on the throttle use to go half throttle till it would start get abit of warmth in it then go full throttle, but my starter cord did the same not long ago put it back in the shed for another day...🤣
@@thegreenandgoldlife1464 I dont pick up spanners when I'm having a few drinks that's how things get left loose 🤣 I also need to pull the steering rack out of the triumph 2500tc next to the mower only been saying that since nz was in lockdown 🙄🙄🤣
Glad you posted this mate....as they say in footy.... you learn more from a loss than a win! Surely she gets another guernsey...shot to prove herself! 💪🏽💪🏽
Ah sorry I wasn’t clear. In the first 30sec of the vid your plant bed and home are in the background. The plant bed appears to be erected with stone. It looks great.
The screaching noise is from the bearings inside the recoil clutch. When you take it off next time put a few drops of oil in the hole in the end and you should be all sweet.
@@thegreenandgoldlife1464 I found out exactly the same way you did; everything kicked over nicely then it starting screaming at me and the engine stopped running real quick!
Hey legend, I got a few Briggs here and the choke is on the back end of the carby. Pull out, plunger style. Worth a look next time your staring at it. Hooroo! 🍻
The "pin" that was replacing the cotter pin broke. So the engine shaft would just spin freely coz these no woodruff key. Gunna have to sort that. It's snow balling.
Great video mate, they are a great machine when running well. I always say lawn Barber (reel) versus lawn Butcher (rotary).
Lawn Barber 🤣🤣🤣 love it
Great video mate, just shows why most people don't bother with old motors etc. much less fuss with new parts.
Amen Brother. Sometimes I'm the same, I do love to tinker though.
Cracking vid DC! Could have busted out a couple of Scotty b curls there easily I reckon! 🤙🏽
Thanks heaps👍 curls for the girls 🤣

No day like the present my man. Yolo, carpe deum, cease the day. International tamper with a lawn mower day 🤣

Aye LBS. Cheers for the heads up mate. I'm off to the shed in 10 min 👍
Pick it up again bro! This video highlights the reality of a restoration and I dare say might have even helped some bloke along the way
Jumped back in the shed for a tinker today. Got issues🥵
Where's the OG singlet, a bit cold is it SID
Yeah, might say ice cold? 🤣
It was a good fight.. 👍🏽
Hahaha. Bit of poo came out 🤣
Well that was a premature excitement.
Personal the engine needs a rop on and lowered out the back of pt Adelaide in the ocean.
might strip it down and put I in the fish tank 🤣
Or strip and rebuild depending on value of parts and time.
Could always take to work and make go boom!
Not quite to script I take it.....take the chain off it and have another crack!
Def have another go mate. Was out in the shed today 👍.

😂😂😂 I freaking hate those old Briggs and their stupid recoil set up.
Not gunna lie. A bit painful. Hope to get her running
Fuck..... I hate working on old motors. You did a really good job on that thing. Your a very patient guy. Love the video.
G'day Jase. I love tinkering with things, some times 🤣. Cheers mate.
