Guys! This interview was probably longer with Nia having questions but they edited it out cause they wouldn't ovbiously put the whole interview in the video they wouldn't have called Nia for no reason

What I meant was, that all the questions were directed at Maddie and Chloe specifically, and the girls didn't really talk to her a whole lot. Nia only spoke when she had something to say, that was it. Only then, did they talk to her.
I feel like the producers knew this- heck, they didn't even acknowledge her themselves! The 'third wheel' so to speak, is defined as someone who is with, or in the company of a solidified twosome, (couple, siblings, friends, etc..) with the implication of being invited out of obligation or pity, or the third person being or feeling left out, or ultimately redundant in the situation.
I don't know about you, but I'd say that perfectly describes Nia here.

maddie had the pressure of the world on her back and she was and is very strong for having dealt with that. chloe had to deal with utter abuse and mistreatment and to go through that at such a young age is unbelievably courageous. both girls didn’t deserve what they were forced to go through. truly a toxic environment for growing minds

@@amyisabella5892 Maddie had everything handed to her, Abby would make sure Maddie was the only one who got opportunities, Abby would literally lie and say the other girls are unavailable. if she forgot her dance she knew Abby would comfort her, if she didn't win first, Abby never called her a loser, she would make excuses for her, or blame the judges, and would even go as far as to cheat, and have the scores changed so Maddie won. She never had to worry when she went into pyramid that Abby was going to verbally abuse her. She was praised every day never one time was she torn down and called stupid. Maddie went from a cute some times bratty little girl in season 1 to a mean lying arrogant brat.

To everyone who is saying “Maddie’s face at 0:09 when Chloe said there best friends was so petty”. That was edited... if you watch the full interview in the very beginning Maddie told nia a joke! But the producers are always trying to find a way to make Maddie look bad, but I know for sure Maddie is such a sweet person! Everyone is petty Or shady in a different way, but the fact that Maddie was also the favorite doesn’t mean you should be hating on her it’s not her fault, especially when a reality tv show is the most fakest channels you can watch.

You could tell Maddie hated it when Abby used her to mistreat the others. Honestly I feel like Maddie was unhappy when they took Chloes trophy away. Maddie was used as a tool by Abby and it was just disgusting. Poor kid.

There's something rather snooty about Maddie in this clip; something somber about Chloe; and Nia is very matter of fact and rational (very much like her mom). I wonder how much of this was edited to make Maddie appear indifferent towards Chloe, or is that really the way she was? I guess we'll never know now. Or maybe we do know, since these two are now old enough to rekindle their friendship, and seem to have no interest in doing so (to the dismay of the fanbase).
I hope it’s been edited. At 0:09 Maddie looks like she’s holding back laughter when Chloe says they’re best friends. Nia has a weird look on her face too. The girls seemed to get along on the show. It was Abby, Christie, and Melissa that had issues. The girls didn’t act like this before. I hope this was just edited for the drama.

I thought Maddie seemed incredibly uncomfortable the whole time. All the questions are clearly meant to make her feel crappy. And with the "one chance" comment I think she meant her one chance to go head to head with Maddie with basically the same choreo and prove to Abby that shes just as good. Not her one chance to bear Maddie. As that has happened already. Come on y'all.
I felt some comments Maddie said were rather rude and snotty, but some of the questions were made to make Maddie uncomfortable. Also in a later interview chloe and Maddie say how they weren’t allowed to be in contact due to the feud between the moms.
Pure1 this was editing, they were allowed to portray them in any way.

Julian c someone has to be in the middle and they are all wearing dresses, so whoever ends up in yhe middle would either have their legs or ankles crossed. And it's a pretty comfortable seating position.

I think the whole think with the Maddie favorismus wasn't fair. Maddie was always at the studio because her mother work here so she can be in the studio when she want. Maybe it seems that it don't matter but I think it is a big deal. That is the reason why Maddie was Abby's favorite because she was always in the stidio. Also I think it was Maddie's emotions that make her the favorit. Abby loves Maddie's emotions.
