I am so glad your mother was there. There is nothing in this world like a mother being there for your first birth.
All these people commenting how Koree should have been comforting Sylvia while she was having contractors. You all know that that was only 15-20 minutes of her contractions. Labor and delivery sometimes last hours. Is he supposed to hold every step of the way? How was she going to walk with him holding her. Koree do not know whats going on, but her mother does, and she was there to comfort her daughter. Do you all think about how Sylvia is going to feel reading these negative comments about her husband? She needed good vibes, not negative ones!

Sadly, it’s not about Sylvia and Koree anymore. People just talk to break and not to build. We only observed 30minutes. Maybe he was more hands on behind the scenes. I know when I was in the throes of labor especially when walking to the ward, I didn’t want all that touchy stuff on me. I just wanted to get to the ward quickly. People let’s positively support these young ones. These negative comments will be awful for them to read

My thought process is, considering high risk pregnancy and seizure a wheelchair should be mandatory, in every Hospital entering ER when in labor.

Koree will relax after the baby is born. The parents of the girl being there must make him feel odd. But trust me he feels it deep inside and wishes he could take the pain away. It can get scary for a man guess because of feeling responsible.

My husband and I gave birth to four children and I can assure you that my husband was the weaker of the two of us.
He couldn't bear to see me in pain so he looked withdrawn but he was so concerned that he couldn't help me bear the pain of the contractions and I knew that he would have borne the pain instead if it was possible.
I say this to quell those attacks on Koree.
He loves his wife and I know that even in the joy to hold his son in his arms, he is also regretting to be the cause of his wife's pains.
