I genuinely think that the fact Tashigi is pretty much a living variation of Zoro's lost best friend from his childhood is one that should not be so easily discarded. Tashigi holds a special place to bring Zoro's attention back to her. She'll grow and become stronger in her own right and I think she will eventually be the person for Zoro in the end if he does ever decide to settle down.
I think so too! Her influence on him is exeptional! She really does look and act like an older version of Zoro´s lost childhood friend. Also she (Kuina) told Zoro as a child, that she wouldn´t be able to keep up with him, because she is a girl. It´s fitting, that he defeated her in their first fight. Even though I think that was more because of his unmatched motivation to become the very very very strongest 😉and not because she is a woman. Also his promise to Kuina is the reason he even got this far. In my mind Tashigi and Zoro really belong together (if Zoro should ever decide to settle down, like you said). Also, nice profile! I was just thinking Enchanted would make a good song for them. Their story giving jdrama/kdrama feels. I'm a super fan of One Piece and Zoro and I know it's far-fetched to ship a marine officer and a high-class pirate, but Zoro is most different towards Tashigi (i know it's because of the Kuina resemblance, but eventually, I think it's because of Tashigi's uniqueness as a woman). Ugh, the usual tropes: the broken glasses, the mutual love for swords, geek girl-tough guy, and the cat-and-dog petty fight relationship. Oh, GOda, make this ship sail far into the Grand Line!

She loves children as well, shown when she was the one to convince Sanji and Franky to help children who were probably kidnapped and experimented on to become giants. She was traumatised as a child, having her mother shot in front of her, and had to take it upon herself to make sure her village didn't have to go through such troubles like the Arlong pirates again. You're probably going to try and spin this around and attempt to insult me, like, "Wow, you must have no life since you wrote an entire paragraph defending a fictional character, how pathetic". Well, guess what, I really empathise with this particular character, and I find it quite rude of you to call her a female dog. Also, if anything Boa Hancock has a worse personality, deciding to kick around adorable animals and overall just being sour and impolite (although, honestly, I never actually had anything against her, since I know that despite that she still cares for Luffy and has some kindness and empathy in her).
I think the story will end up with the corruption of World Government overthrown by the StrawHats & other nakama. So I don't think anyone would be messing with this ship.
