New sub! Love the old 90% hunts! I'm into metal detecting and coin collecting myself. Really love that capped bust half dollar! Well worth the price you paid! Great group of coins!
22 times face is more than worth it. Between the nice barber dime, capped bust half and dime, even the 1839 quarter, it’s far more than worth it. Love these vids. Always a surprise seeing what you might get
Out detecting an old sawmill site in Michigan, where I found a beautiful 1874 Indian last year. Was working along the lakeshore when I got a zinc tone and when I first seen it I thought I had my bucket lister Trime, but no but just as good and the detail is amazing. It was a 1915. (key date), Canadian, silver 5 cent piece. Two weeks later and I'm still stoked about it.
I really like these longer style junk silver hunt videos. Gives us more of a look at each find and gives you more time to talk a little about the coin: condition, mintage, value, etc. I know the constitutional silver bag purchases are usually a different format, but I think you could add length to the regular coin hunt videos and it would give you more of a chance to discuss things and also help you feel less rushed. You seem so much more relaxed and i just really enjoyed your added insights to the various finds this video.
I didn't read all the comments, but if nobody else told you, that glue on the dime is probably from scotch tape used to hold the coin in a book. Sometimes I buy neglected collections from the 70's & earlier, and often there is tape on the backs of coins (hidden) and sometimes even across the fronts. An acetone bath should do the trick.
I really enjoy these junk silver hunts! If you don't already know - for that 1892 Barber dime, you can use a little Goo-Gone, and that glue stuff comes off fairly easily. And for that 186x seated dime, I put a screenshot of it into Photoshop, and compared it to an 1860-O from PCGS, and it looks like it could be an 1860-O. The zero on the date is off to the right, so it could have been worn down. I will email you a video of the Photoshop comparison. Another great video!
I love me some 90% silver. It's my favorite to collect. I really like the clinging sound from Constitutional Silver 🥈. Hope you're feeling better Rob. If I don't get any in my rolls when I hunt, I want Rob to get it. He definitely deserves it.
I've had some good luck at my LCS. Recently got a G4 1904 S half in junk silver pile. Also starting to make a roll of Type B reverse quarters I found, and have found at least one BU one so far.
You make me jealous because you have a silver dealer which includes many coins which my coin dealers would pull out before selling the junk silver. Congrats for finding several better dates and better condition coins. I hope that half-dime turns out to be an 1864.
I feel like you definitely did great on that purchase. On a side note, pretty cool seeing that 1892 Dime in such great shape. I have a 1913, that is just the silhouette remaining.
The 1853-O without the rays is worth a king's ransom, perhaps that's why that was altered. PCGS/NGC won't slab coins that have been altered like that but that is probably not going into a slab anyway.
I am not an expert on altered coins, but that 1935 quarter looks like the date has been messed with, like it was a 55 and they altered it to look like a 35, just my thinking.

I would tell your silver dealer someone was altering coins so he can watch out for that customer
Two months Later I’m getting close to 22x for my junk. Man just keep at it. We love RFT long time!
13:54 i see an 8....but dont take my word for it .😁🤘 Awesome coins as always!! You gots the good 💩!!!
Wish I had your silver dealer 😂
I’d easily pay 22-25x for a collection like that. Love these types of videos.
Wow that Washington quarter was stunning. That was a fun hunt.
At 1892 dime has glue you need to use acetone on it does not damage the coin at all
Heck ya new junk silver purchase
Can you buy a whole bag of junk silver (quarters, nickels, dimes, halves, etc) from coin dealers?
@@fastfowardbutton1965 most of the time yes
I'm glad you are feeling much better. It's good to see you do coin hunts and currency searches.
Love the variety of coins you got in this bag. Your videos are always informative. Thanks Rob.
I enjoy these junk silver hunts...always a nice surprise or two!
Thanks Rob.
New sub! Love the old 90% hunts!
I'm into metal detecting and coin collecting myself. Really love that capped bust half dollar! Well worth the price you paid! Great group of coins!
Nothing better than watching a solid gold guy highlight lesser metal's!
I’d love to see a live search of a silver bag

That was a nice amount of old silver for the collection, congrats Rob 👍
Great job
Nice find, Love the old junk silver, I went through 2 rolls of dimes and found a 1945 d/d rpm. thanks for the video.
I enjoy your constitutional silver videos. Love them designs. Congratulations on your pick ups.
SLQs are amazing thanks for the breakdown

Capped Bust Half, very cool.
Love it Rob. Thanks for the hunt. Good to see you feeling better again.

Would love to see you go through your albums! If you already have a lot of these coins I can’t imagine what else you have!
GET WELL SOON, THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO
Worth it, thanks for keeping us posted on the price
I think the SLQ’s are the most beautiful quarters made. I can’t warm up to barbers. Nice hunt!
You always have a good deal on your junk silver 22 times is awesome😊 sure do enjoy videos keep up the good work I am a subscriber to your Channel😅
I love me some 90% silver. It's my favorite to collect. I really like the clinging sound from Constitutional Silver 🥈.

Love those oldies, awesome video. Thanks Rob!!
Never know what you might run into inside these bags. Great bag to watch you delve into for sure. Happy Hunting, Stephen
you know better than me what they are worth but I really enjoyed watching and seeing those old coins. My favorite was the 1935 Washington quarter
Love watching your junk silver bag hunts.
💥Yeah, Rob...ya did pretty good❗️ love the oldies & a few bangers! I'm glad you sound healthy, Brother😉👍
Nice haul, especially the old silver!
Love a good junk silver hunt! Some fun finds for sure.
Right on!
I've had some good luck at my LCS. Recently got a G4 1904 S half in junk silver pile. Also starting to make a roll of Type B reverse quarters I found, and have found at least one BU one so far.
Glad to see back at it Rob
Awesome Rob
I was just that the local coin shop today, and they had a few 27-S SLQ's in their stock. It really surprised me, and they were decently priced.
Nice finds
You make me jealous because you have a silver dealer which includes many coins which my coin dealers would pull out before selling the junk silver. Congrats for finding several better dates and better condition coins. I hope that half-dime turns out to be an 1864.
Acetone should clean up that dime no problem. Some good coins in this haul! Glad you're feeling well enough to do videos again!
I feel like you definitely did great on that purchase. On a side note, pretty cool seeing that 1892 Dime in such great shape. I have a 1913, that is just the silhouette remaining.
Pretty dang good haul. Hope to get a half dime for my collection.
I said 18'64' before I knew it was a possibility...based on the spacing between the 6 and the top of the 4 @13:46...but just a hunch!
Oh, I thought you said Sliver...I was looking for Sharon Stone😂😂
Can you imagine paying only 22x face for a decent circulated '27-S SLQ?? Congrats, Rob!
From by my first bar today to rob finds treasure great day
📶 SLQs my favorite when I was a kid used to get them at a lcs back then early 70s I payed 1.oo each fine condition coins ♻️ days gone by good times
Fun haul😀🇺🇸
Some nice coins coins in your junk bag
great video fun hunt
You did AWESOME!!!!!
Like to see u posting more videos
Hi
Hi
The 1839 quarter is definitely a Fine full liberty is the key indicator.
Not bad at all for the 22 times face, when these go up for Auction you will very much get plenty of $$
Love it!
i like the 27-s slq and the 1935 washington best.
Rob just got my best half dollar box. 69 90% with 25 1964's and the rest are Franklin's, and 2 40%.
Let’s gooo!!
I'd be very interested in a SLQ starter lot. :)
Nice
The 1853-O without the rays is worth a king's ransom, perhaps that's why that was altered. PCGS/NGC won't slab coins that have been altered like that but that is probably not going into a slab anyway.
Yes totally worth it at 22x IMO.
Hi Rob! How are you feeling?
Cool finds, hope you're doing better.
I have the a 1954 quarter and it’s on the mat
More the silver. More the better
The only SLQ I ever got is a 1927D my uncle gave me 50 years ago and I’m not parting with it.
I think it was 100% worth it
Some acetone should help with the glue on that 1892 dime
Half dime is 1861 Philly - fairly sure
SILVER!
From the angle of the half dime I am pretty sure that it is a o mint mark
That half dime might be an 1864, I could be wrong.
Fun hunt. Maybe a stupid question, but what happens when you nic a date a SLQ?
Nic-a-date is an acid made solely for nickel...it would blacken the silver if applied...I've seen it before
Question, i found 3 morgan dollars from the 20s. Im canadian so not too sure on the value (also got some mercuries and 40% halves)
You mean you found 3 1921 Morgan dollars?
@TopHotDog I think. Not too sure if they're Morgan's but from the 20s. I only remember 1 as 1922.
@@TopHotDogoops! Did some research and they're peace dollars
It just goes to show you it's still out there.
Im seeing an 1862 on the half dime
I'm thinking that too.
Looks like there's an O to me
That half dime looks like 1867 to me.
✌️
I'm sure the silver jar gets annoyed seeing this knowing it won't be able to feed on it.
I wonder if capped busts taste better to all of the silver jars. 🤔 all I know is that mine is starving 🤣
I think I saw 1864 on there
I am not an expert on altered coins, but that 1935 quarter looks like the date has been messed with, like it was a 55 and they altered it to look like a 35, just my thinking.
You must be keeping Silver Jar locked up somewhere when you do these hunts.
1853 O half dollar no arrows mintage = 4, no wonder why someone tried to get rid of the rays
More Silver? More better.
Mabey a heat gun and a cloth might get the glue off
Not a bad idea at all!
I'm going to predict a 1927-s slq let's see if I'm right lol
Where do you get junk silver? You trust who you use so could you share?
