I agree! Ever since my wife and I saw them open for Dwight Yoakam a few years a ago, we've waited to see them blow up! We have all their vinyl and listen to them all the time.
If we want this music to stick around then everyone needs to support it. Buy there music, go watch a show and share with everyone. Love this tune Wes and crew. God Bless

@@OldschoolRacer73 I'm a metal head from way back amongst other music I loved also. But they just don't do it like these guys do anymore, not much anyways. Too watered down for nowadays with no substance. Take care brother. God Bless

I was introduced to this band when they opened for Cody Jinks in Madison 2019, just a couple months after their second album was released. I had never heard of them before that night, but I was blown away. They play so good live and I was lucky enough to see Rowdy play that night. Been following them ever since. Just got the new album in the mail and first listen through was fantastic
Tyler's harmonies on the chorus is awesome on this song. Would have loved to been a fly on the wall listening to this in that room.
Recording in the same room captures the vibe…many great songs recorded this way…❤️
These guys opened for BBS a few years ago. I heard 3 songs, got up and bought 2 copies of Straw in the Wind and a t shirt. Love this band, see you boys tomorrow night in Ft Wayne, hell ya baby!! Grow the Woods!!!

The Steel Woods have captivated audiences with their powerful sound and heartfelt lyrics since their formation in 2016. Co-founded by Wes Bayliss and Jason Cope, the band has amassed over 200 million streams in their short lifespan. Their songs ‘Axe’, ‘Blind Lover’ and ‘Out of The Blue’ have been featured on Taylor Sheridan’s hit TV shows ‘Yellowstone’ and ‘Tulsa King.’ Road warriors at heart, The Steel Woods have had toured rigorously, building a loyal fan base brick by brick, while sharing the stage with the likes of Blackberry Smoke, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Cody Jinks, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Dwight Yoakam, to name a few. Tragedy struck in 2021 when founder and creative visionary, Jason Cope, passed away due to complications from diabetes. The band pressed on, continuing to tour, and released their final studio album, ‘On Your Time’, in the Fall of 2023. With four studio records behind them, Wes Bayliss shared the news to their fans in March of 2024 that The Steel Woods will stop touring at the end of the year, putting an end to ‘one of the most promising new outfits in independent roots music.’
