As with the first question, just because one prefers international over local does not mean it is automatically colonial mentality. And it also goes to preference. Like I would prefer McDonald's over Jollibee but I will prefer our locally made products over those Made in China.
The irony here is, English. Tbh, the quality of Filipino cinema is crap and low class. Yeah, BUYBUST was ehh, but look at the indonesian film The Raid Redemption where BuyBust copied. Plus, add the Tagalog lines then English lines to make a thought (eg. Saan ka pupunta? Will you leave me?). You know how cringy that is. Services here is crap as well. I can go on with many more reasons. Nakakapagod at nakakasawa. Kung mamahalin mo ang isang bagay dapat ibalik rin ito sa iyo. Kaso ano ba nangyayari dito, nililinlang tayo nang maraming opisyal at mga pinuno ng bayan. Ano pa ang bansa kung hindi ka naman tinangkilik.
