@@JumbleAndGaff Thank you my friends! I love how different our styles are. I feel like I'm the Bob Newhart show at 8pm, followed by you guys as the prime time Tonight Show at 10pm. Everybody wins! ;)
I played the video game from a physical cartridge on Nintendo Switch. It’s pretty random with very little control over what cards you may gain (3 are offered and you may choose 1). Sometimes you reach the boss, sometimes not; it’s just a matter of trying enough times. It quickly became very boring. The fights themselves were okay effortless “fun”, but there’s no story, no lore, no world building, no character growth. Obviously I’m missing the intangible addictiveness and many fans boast how far they got. But it’s just you against a random card generator. The board game adds all the tedium of administration to this randomness.
Great review! I had been thinking to myself "Why would I want to buy this when I already own the video game and have put about 50hrs into it over 5 years?" I think you've answered my question.
Good review..... thanks for your thoughts on this, very helpful !
Glad to hear it!! 🙌
Thanks, that was a helpful review.
No problem!! Thanks so much for checking out the video ❤️
Almost 600 subs!
You should ... aSpire... to play the video game at some point.
Great review. Summed it up precisely and entertainingly, as always.
Thanks for giving it a look 😎 and we LOVED your video about it, as well! Lots of great (and entertaining) commentary 😊

Unless you mistyped and forgot to add a zero after 50, you should not.
