This is fascinating. The Devil actually looks a lot more difficult here than he does in the game's current expert mode.

I still find it hilarious that despite 1:20 ironically, being completely finished (just needing to make the placeholders sprites have actual sprites which there barely is) They still decided to scrap it completely,
They should have kept the mini Goopies at least in expert mode so Goopy could at least have some semblance of challenge
Gooopy is the hardest boss in the game wdym

They shouldn't have removed the Angel/Demon phase, the fact that he took out his skin makes sense knowing that it is the transition to the true phase 2 with the skeleton in the background, and when defeated, they are sucked back into the skull, giving way to the unused animation of the hands and the last phase, an unnecessary nerf, this is why Chef Saltbaker looks like the real final boss

I find it interesting that the game is hard, but they actually scrapped stuff that would’ve made it way harder. Some of the stuff should’ve been used in expert though.
For someone dont know some attack is come from mods name "MASTER QUEST" it does boss x10 health and a new attack

Nah there should a new difficulty called insane difficulty and you unlock it by S ranking everything on expert. On insane, all of these unused attacks would be used.

Fun fact: The unused Devil animation was for when you’d defeat his unused second phase (Angel and Demon/SplitDevil), where the angel and demon would become the skin of The Devil, and then his true 2nd phase would start

I feel like these should be added back in their own difficulty, sadly Cuphead is over, but it would've been cool

Ok half of these bonus attacks would be amazing for expert mode
They should’ve had a Master mode for some of the attacks (including Pachi Pachi and a coded card for a master king dice) and no I’m not talking about master quest.

Most people have problems to beat the normal difficulty of Cuphead, this would make bosses take hours to beat.

like its first phase would be the same thing, then he expands only a little big and can now start jumping
and the tiny blue ball final phase would be like a 200 hp very tiny version of the graveyard thing that goopy is in in his final phaseif you think thats too much, the first ball phase has 10 hp phase 2 would have like 90 hp and the final phase 200 hp
its not much harder but they would have to remove 1 or else it would be too hard
If they add a way harder mode that would me insane.
