OMG, I can't believe it's that time of year again.. This is the very first video of snow plowing I've started to watch, looking forward to more coming from you. :)
The residents in the streets where you live could have brought you a coffee if you were already on your street as a thank you for your help. That would be a given in our country. Of course, bringing you a coffee would be great😄👍💅
Having lived in Southern California all my life I just cannot fathom how people can live (and drive) in such conditions. And why not park in the garage? More power to you regardless.
I can understand removing the large snow banks when it gets out of hand and becomes a safety thing, but why scrape the road right down to the surface so hard?
their is around 3000 people doing the snow removal work sometimes more ,contractors and city employees in some areas of the city where its more problematic, usually snow is removed more during the night since less traffic is going on but during the day you can see some mostly on larger streets, side streets are done at night.
Yes it for the plows to simply scrape up the icy residue of snow then the other plows simply do a windrow so the blower can pick it up much easier and the dump trucks can also drive along or else the wouldnt have the room to drive next to the blower. If you notice they scrape 1/2 the street then push the snow where the blower can easily get to it,in some areas they might even have a 2nd pass if more snow is left.
I'm just surprised that Quebec'rs haven't gone to all electric powered equipment for snow removal. Going green is bull shit!! Nothing like gas and diesel powered equipment to get the job done right.

После такого грейдера асфальт останется?
Останется, это у нас бля белорус пролетает туда сюда с резиной на опыте лопате и все дела. До апреля калдоебины потом оттаивают
