In relation to the British railway board (subsidiary) sign... they had the statutory powers and duty to maintain a lot of abandoned and closed railway lines until the axe fell on them too in 2000ish
It is part of the lever frame .. before this monstrosity was built there was steps down to the arches and pulleys cables an levers about 10 years ago I did get photos
@@RWHTrains I did get photos first time around when I went back for treasures I was moved on by the new building owners which was there and it escalated quickly into a nasty slanging match 🙈😂
@@RWHTrains yes LDNPA Lake District national park authority it’s criminal to have done it, thought on your video you’d have done the stretch from the A66 to the other bridge further along

Is that the national park depot? It's obliterated most of what is left there
