I could listen to your thoughts all day. Somewhat related to this content - you mention destashing polishes that you no longer want. Would you consider making a video about how you go about doing that and best practices surrounding selling your polishes (what sites you use, helpful information to include in your listings, etc.)? I probably have 100 polishes I’d like to sell but am overwhelmed by how to get started.
hm i haven’t thought to make a video about that, but maybe i could! i’ve only done one video i believe on Destashing but it was just going over the polishes i’m parting with, not so much on the listing aspect. just so you aren’t waiting on my video though, i currently destash thru 2 apps, Mercari and Instagram. Mercari is basically an app where you can sell anything, and it’s all very protected too. the only downside is that this year they implemented additional fees for buyers, so even if you list a polish for $10 with free shipping, it could still add $5~ in fees which is annoying. i’ve noticed selling on Mercari has slowed a lot for me. instagram is much easier since i can swap accounts between my regular social page & destash, and i find it soo much easier to “list” products since i take a photo and post it, and the caption is just the name of the polish and the price lol. i think most people who sell on instagram use paypal since that’s secure for transactions, but they might also do Venmo or CashApp etc. i’ve heard people sell thru ebay which would be more in line with Mercari being a ‘secure site’ but i know people also sell thru Facebook and Reddit too, there’s dedicated buy/sell/trade groups for each. i just don’t have experience in those. as far as the shipping part goes, Mercari can create the pre paid labels that you can either print yourself or at the post office (i do the latter bc ink is expensive lol) i hold onto a lot of packaging from incoming mail that i re-use for shipping out polishes, but i have had to buy bubble mailers from amazon before too. i also sometimes buy a roll of bubble wrap from walgreens to cut strips to wrap the polishes as well, if i don’t have any extra bubble wrap on hand. the only difference is for Instagrsm sales where i have to write out the shipping label myself, but thats not so bad lol. i hope this helps for now!! i know it can be overwhelming. honestly, maybe its worth trying to find the Facebook or reddit groups and searching up polishes you plan to sell, but specifically to see if someone made a post who is looking to buy. that way you can respond to them vs making posts of what you’re trying to sell if that makes sense!
As a HT fan who owns 65% of their releases, I've also found I am often disappointed when I get my HT order recently. Especially with deep/dark shades, they end up being way darker in person or finishes are less noticeable than all the swatchers' pictures online. I've returned several collections boxes, like the new Ethereal Glow box because of this. It's sucks because I have so many favs from HT, but it's made me look elsewhere and appreciate indie brands even more for their unique polishes! @@Ms_shadoweyes yes sadly I agree with you too. I still love certain things but I’ve gotten way more selective and pushed myself to wait longer until regular customers get it. The dark polishes especially are very disappointing.
Aw I’m so sorry you were disappointed with the latest collection, and that it’s unfortunately a somewhat common experience for you too!! Truly a shame, but yeah totally get it 😣 I usually find the rest of their swatchers pics are more accurate to what I see, but usually it’s just Cristine’s swatches that are being shared in the week leading up to the launch.. maybe they’ll change that in the future, but I do think they could definitely include more “real” photos too. I’m pretty sure almost all of their swatchers use studio light, and sure it looks nice but I definitely prefer natural lighting!
I feel the same. I bought a couple HT products for Black Friday (like the nail oil refills, matte taco, and two cremes). I think this will be my last time buying from HT; I'm just not impressed with their products anymore. Their formulas get goopy, and I often find that the photos do not look like the product in real life. Their products are too expensive to be unhappy with them. ILNP is a much better brand, and they have excellent customer service. I'm excited to receive my ILNP Black Friday haul this year!

I love these window shopping videos so much! They are super helpful when I need to remind myself that I have plenty of similar polish at home. That said, I used to be so much better at window shopping, and I went a little overboard this month.. But I also got mostly colors that fill holes in my collection. (It's true, but I'm also saying this to make myself feel better).
There’s always beautiful collections, never enough money! Or space lol. I mentioned before it’s nice to see these videos because you always show colors that are similar and we may already have. I try to go for really unique shades or shades I don’t have in my collection instead of just getting a shade I always go for❤
I am so excited for ILNP's sale! I have been working on my cart all year and haven't ordered since last year's sale! Also, I got Ava a couple years ago and she's beautiful! So much red shimmer ❤ I think she would be a great polish to add to your collection.

It's wonderful to see how you still enjoy hunting for nail polish while also receiving PR. Protecting that balance for a hobby-turned-gig is so important, especially when our self-care hobby has soooo many attractive options, great makers, and enthusiastic (enabling? 😉) community members. I picked up a couple polishes from Rogue (first time trying them, their holiday doorbuster flakie got me) and Emily de Molly, but I'm giving myself room to "window shop" a couple more brands for the best deals and colors I want to wear immediately.
I actually love that this series is spaced out because I really don’t shop for polish every month like PPU etc release. It feels less overconsumption and more considered shopping.
thats a great point! i have liked spacing it out too, even though theres releases almost every month, its nice to just talk about a lot of them every few months lol.

I am using that very KB shimmer sugar scrub in my shower right now! 🤗 It is so so gooooood! I agree with you their scrubs are very hydrating. I love them! I always love seeing what is on your lists. I picked up HT existential crisis not that long ago and I LOVE it! Super shifty especially in outdoor lighting.

I loved this video! So far I've bought from Mooncat and KB Shimmer, and I plan on making ILNP's sale and maybe Death Valley Nails. I plan on getting some of those iconic ILNP ethereal shimmer sort of polishes. I actually won one of ILNP's current Instagram giveaways for the periwinkle horseshoe magnet. I was SO gd excited! Like soooo excited. lol.

I have Annabelle and I wear it all the time, actually it’s on my nails now. It is a deep eggplant but in sunlight and even low light it still comes across purple. It’s a tried and true shade for me!

I did make a Mooncat order which I'm excited for, but also most excited about ILNP!! I have a huge wish list but will probably go for it all since it's their only sale of the year! I love Ava and Dash of Cocoa:) I also have Annabelle and it is dark, almost black in 3 coats, but pretty! I kind of want to try it in 2 coats, but I think I'd need to switch out the brush to be able to get it even.

My first ever ILNP purchase was in fall of 2020 - primarily because of Eclipse after watching Kelli Marissa gush over it - but i also picked up Annabelle and Vanish at the same time. Annabelle is the only one i go back to multiple times throughout the year. But I'm a softie for that deep purple! I hope you love Salem! It gives accidental slytherin when paired with Moondust My collection has grown significantly in 4 years and as I've gotten more selective with the shades I add nowadays, it's your voice narrating which I'd be duping myself on 😂

Black Friday P/U's: Holo Taco: I grabbed some polishes that been in my wish list for a while. A couple unicorn skins, black flake taco, glow in the dark, existential crisis, never tide down, and midnight spark. I wanted free shipping and figured this is the time to get the more expensive polish that I want. I tend to like "maximalist" nail polishes and I really love linear holo's with a flake topper on them. Burnt bridges with fallen flake on top is great. Olive Avenue: Borealis and Calla Lilly. ILNP: I'm not sure what I will actually get here but Eclipse, High Voltage, Cityscape, Funhouse, and Riddle Me This are just some from my wish list.
Love your videos and all the hard and extensive comparisons you do! I don't normally shop BF, but am indulging some nail polish this year. Picked up some from MoonCat, a few from Night Owl, Rogue, Glisten & Glow, some toppers from KBShimmer, and plan on a couple from Cracked and Zombie Claw. This fall it felt like everyone had a Beetlejuice collection. (Which as fantastic, but not great for my budget.) Thankfully Bees Knees is releasing overpour stock for their BF sale, so I have multiple reminders set. I will definitely grab a couple of ILNP shades like Dakota and Salem. Night Owl is one of my favorite brands and their Bob’s Burgers inspired theme at HHC is my favorite collection of the year.

Love this video and series! Aside from my Mooncat and HT hauls, I’m trying out Cracked Polish and Rogue Lacquer for the first time. For Rogue, I picked up their new Opals collection (jelly flakies are my kryptonite), Peacocked, It Glows, and Mermaid Sprinkles. I also can’t wait for their free gift polish, Cactus Bikini. I haven’t quite narrowed my wishlist for Cracked yet, but I will before Friday. I still haven’t tried ILNP, but that’s definitely at the top of my list for new brands to try next year!
I have ILNP princeton! It’s the same formula IMO as music box, I think I saw you swatch that one. Princeton is one of my favorite greens. Very soft and soothing.
aw yes i picked up Music Box! ok makes sense they have a similar formula. i was only disappointed in Music Box’s color sadly 🥲 but looking forward to this soft minty green!!
I just want to say that Existential Crisis is one of my all time favorites in my collection. I just got it recently and it's just gorgeous. It's super shifty. You'll love it 😅
I’m wearing Existential Crisis right now!!! I bought it recently and in my lighting it is very deep teal blue but i only see that when the light isn’t hitting it. The shimmer goes from gold to copper to a fiery deep red. The holo glitters get me thinking of a galaxy. It is so stunning and unique! I also have one coat of Deep Space from ILNP on top of it as an accent nail and i love seeig the sparkly base thru the sheer black jelly of that magnetic. Under flash and in direct sunlight it is too gorgeous to describe for me. I hope u like it! ❤

ILNP Valentina is one of my faves. It is very sheer and can be worn as a topper or as a standalone polish. Although I don't have any Holo Taco to compare to it, I will say that Valentina is very unique in my collection.

Great video as always! I also really really love KB Shimmers crelly flocking fabulous. I think it is so pretty and i love the tree inspo pic she had. But i just got by dany vianna's november ppu shade feed me, and while i definitely dont think they're dupes they are both white crellies and the ppu one came the same day that kbshimmer's launched. I took that as a sign to be content with what i already ordered. Lol.

LOL better late than never with Eclipse. It's another super shifty polish that's hard to photograph; you need sunlight to see all the shifts. It's my favorite ILNP polish.
If you want other things to up the shipping for kbshimmer, their basics are really good! I love their top coat, glitter smoother, and new hydrating base coat! Their mani shots, lotion, and matte cuticle cream are also really good (the cuticle cream is great for pictures, cause oils can look too oily sometimes) Have a happy thanksgiving and have fun shopping on Black Friday!

I have a random question! Do you happen to know what's up with Starrily? They haven't released anything new since at least March, which seems so odd to me. But for Black Friday they've been restocking just a few colors. Are they struggling, or phasing out or something? Not sure if you've worked with them at all, but I thought you might have some insight. No worries if not though. Thanks! (Also, I have ILNP Annabelle and... oh god, I love it so much. Then again, vampy purpleblacks and redblacks are my kryptonite. Absolutely addicted. I also have Princeton -- was one of the first polishes I ever bought. When you described All Aglow by PFD, the word that came to mind is “Apricity” (the warmth of the sun in winter). Polishes like this are my kryptonite and I would take up polish making just to have all of the colors!
I did the BCB sale earlier this month and I'm doing ILNP later this month. I keep waffling on KBshimmer, but their two new flakies are pushing me into buying their sale now.
About magnets: here's why I've never felt for cute colorful stuff.. Magnets, especially if they are strong and intended to keep their properties, need to be stored on a so called "keepers", steel or magnetic plates. Because they weaken and demagnetize with time. Magnet on a keeper plate is pretty much a forever magnet. None of the nail brands offer that :) Of course, one can find a keeper and one should, otherwise it is pretty much the same end as with thermal nail polishes. I was looking for a similar magnet that ILNP is advertising now, but not much of a luck. And good, because I found a 50lb pull, "ugly red" haha, but a high arch one for the same price as a 30lb pull. At first I thought so too, meh, ugly, tall, whatever... But the benefits are clear: after painting comfortably, I simply put my finger in the arch and wait. THE SAME EFFECT is happening. No need to position your finger in a pretty tight space of a relatively small magnet, no need to hold the magnet. But of course, if others work for someone, why not stick to what works? Just remember to store your valuable magnet properly.

I ordered mooncat for the first time during this sale! I hope they live up to the expectations... And I also got my usual HT order. Next year I'm thinking I'll try ILNP🤔 altough their international shipping treshold is 300$💀💀 so I won't be hitting that😂 But their lower pricepoint will make it worth it, I think.

Editing to add: the Clionadh Pscylo-sibs are gorgeous and kind of retro in a late 80s/ early 90s way, which my elder Millennial heart adores. I would love to see more swatches of Night Owl Lacquer cremes when you have time. I have what feels like a mile-long crème wishlist from them! The tones are just delicious! And, I am gunning for the green ILNP magnet when it gets released. 🙈 I like the by Vanessa Molina one but find it can lead to some wonkiness, I think because it’s too wide?
Hi I love Clionadh and I just wanted to give you a bit more info. As far as I know Clionadh has never offered free shipping. The cheapest they offer is about $11-12 dollars Most items will be discounted at 6% off year round and it stacks on the sale I recommend the code MILLY since she just had a collab with them. For some of their sales they will give a gift of purchase either an eyeshadow or polish and those help me justify the shipping cost. So far Clionadh hasn’t mentioned having a GWP for Black Friday but if you’re interested I can remind when they offer a GWP with their Sales if it helps with the cost of shipping! I really love their eyeshadows and their polishes ❤

I feel like it's all about the 3D printed double velvet magnets like the one from Vanessa Molina. It gives the same results but there is more room for your finger. I feel like it's more comfortable to use than the horseshoe magnets.
yeah i’m glad there’s options! i personally don’t find the horseshoe one uncomfortable, but have seen some people say they’re too small, but maybe thats more for the 10-20# pull ones since I think those are physically smaller
i wanna get into kathleen & co so bad bc i've seen loads of swatches of so many of their polishes, but every time i check their website it's just not open. and ik that's something indie brands do sometimes like not keeping a stock of polishes but i really cannot be bothered to keep up with releases in the midst of my busy life just so i can get nail polish, especially when i have other ready options open to me
ah yeah i totally understand that frustration too! 😓 it really is hard to keep up with, especially when soo many smaller indies operate the same way. you really have to be subscribed to their newsletters and join their FB groups, which is annoying 😅
Yeah I saw that Caitlin Swatches video of Kathleen and Co release... And couldn't imagine skipping a single one haha. But also Kathleen & Co is my fave brand and I felt sad because I skipped a couple from the fall release and honestly I regret it.

I shocked myself by skipping mooncat this year. Sadly, even though BF is like ilnp’s only sale of the year and 25% is sooo good, I think I might hold off on buying from them this BF 😢 solely because I think they’re one of the more affordable indie brands and they rarely discontinue shades? I already bought from HT, Mooncat, and I’m definitely planning to get something from PFD because I picked up QLDI from PPU the other month and I’m sooo obsessed with how they do their shimmers. PFD also has more limited stock (eternal glow feels like it’s always sold out since I found it haha) so I’m aiming for them this sale esp since I know I’ll never order enough for free shipping so it’s either get it during a sale or not at all, that’s my restraint with myself 😂 If the shades I want at PFD end up selling out before I can get to them, then I’ll probably order some from ilnp? But ilnp always feels more affordable to me that I don’t mind ordering from them when there’s not a sale happening! I really want to try more of their multichromes like mutagen since I don’t have a green multichrome yet, and maybe I’ll finally see if I get the hype around fairy dust! Since I also have nothing like it in my collection. Clionadh has a BF sale on Black Friday. I think I’ve only seen free shipping once. I am a huge fan of their polishes. I also buy way too many of their eye shadows. I am really drawn to, by Dany Vianna and Bluebird. I can’t decide if I’m going to buy from Cuticula this BF. I think I’ll stick to stockists for most of my polish purchases.
I only plan on buying from PFD, S&S Salad Fingers & Cracked. I did buy from NOL & Maniology already from their sales. As bad as it looks, it’s much better than last year 😂

This is amazing!! I enjoyed the entire video. BUT I would say to skip ILNP Princeton. If you search for other swatch photos, you’ll see it’s almost a creme and the holo is basically non existent

I could listen to your thoughts all day. Somewhat related to this content - you mention destashing polishes that you no longer want. Would you consider making a video about how you go about doing that and best practices surrounding selling your polishes (what sites you use, helpful information to include in your listings, etc.)? I probably have 100 polishes I’d like to sell but am overwhelmed by how to get started.

ive heard people sell their polishes on mercari or maybe ebay
hm i haven’t thought to make a video about that, but maybe i could! i’ve only done one video i believe on Destashing but it was just going over the polishes i’m parting with, not so much on the listing aspect. just so you aren’t waiting on my video though, i currently destash thru 2 apps, Mercari and Instagram.
Mercari is basically an app where you can sell anything, and it’s all very protected too. the only downside is that this year they implemented additional fees for buyers, so even if you list a polish for $10 with free shipping, it could still add $5~ in fees which is annoying. i’ve noticed selling on Mercari has slowed a lot for me.
instagram is much easier since i can swap accounts between my regular social page & destash, and i find it soo much easier to “list” products since i take a photo and post it, and the caption is just the name of the polish and the price lol. i think most people who sell on instagram use paypal since that’s secure for transactions, but they might also do Venmo or CashApp etc.
i’ve heard people sell thru ebay which would be more in line with Mercari being a ‘secure site’ but i know people also sell thru Facebook and Reddit too, there’s dedicated buy/sell/trade groups for each. i just don’t have experience in those.
as far as the shipping part goes, Mercari can create the pre paid labels that you can either print yourself or at the post office (i do the latter bc ink is expensive lol) i hold onto a lot of packaging from incoming mail that i re-use for shipping out polishes, but i have had to buy bubble mailers from amazon before too. i also sometimes buy a roll of bubble wrap from walgreens to cut strips to wrap the polishes as well, if i don’t have any extra bubble wrap on hand. the only difference is for Instagrsm sales where i have to write out the shipping label myself, but thats not so bad lol. i hope this helps for now!! i know it can be overwhelming. honestly, maybe its worth trying to find the Facebook or reddit groups and searching up polishes you plan to sell, but specifically to see if someone made a post who is looking to buy. that way you can respond to them vs making posts of what you’re trying to sell if that makes sense!

As a HT fan who owns 65% of their releases, I've also found I am often disappointed when I get my HT order recently. Especially with deep/dark shades, they end up being way darker in person or finishes are less noticeable than all the swatchers' pictures online. I've returned several collections boxes, like the new Ethereal Glow box because of this. It's sucks because I have so many favs from HT, but it's made me look elsewhere and appreciate indie brands even more for their unique polishes! Aw I’m so sorry you were disappointed with the latest collection, and that it’s unfortunately a somewhat common experience for you too!! Truly a shame, but yeah totally get it 😣 I usually find the rest of their swatchers pics are more accurate to what I see, but usually it’s just Cristine’s swatches that are being shared in the week leading up to the launch.. maybe they’ll change that in the future, but I do think they could definitely include more “real” photos too. I’m pretty sure almost all of their swatchers use studio light, and sure it looks nice but I definitely prefer natural lighting!
I feel the same. I bought a couple HT products for Black Friday (like the nail oil refills, matte taco, and two cremes). I think this will be my last time buying from HT; I'm just not impressed with their products anymore. Their formulas get goopy, and I often find that the photos do not look like the product in real life. Their products are too expensive to be unhappy with them. ILNP is a much better brand, and they have excellent customer service. I'm excited to receive my ILNP Black Friday haul this year!

I love these window shopping videos so much! They are super helpful when I need to remind myself that I have plenty of similar polish at home. That said, I used to be so much better at window shopping, and I went a little overboard this month.. But I also got mostly colors that fill holes in my collection. (It's true, but I'm also saying this to make myself feel better).

I picked up a couple polishes from Rogue (first time trying them, their holiday doorbuster flakie got me) and Emily de Molly, but I'm giving myself room to "window shop" a couple more brands for the best deals and colors I want to wear immediately.
I actually love that this series is spaced out because I really don’t shop for polish every month like PPU etc release. It feels less overconsumption and more considered shopping.

I have Annabelle and I wear it all the time, actually it’s on my nails now. It is a deep eggplant but in sunlight and even low light it still comes across purple. It’s a tried and true shade for me!

I did make a Mooncat order which I'm excited for, but also most excited about ILNP!! I have a huge wish list but will probably go for it all since it's their only sale of the year! I love Ava and Dash of Cocoa:) I also have Annabelle and it is dark, almost black in 3 coats, but pretty! I kind of want to try it in 2 coats, but I think I'd need to switch out the brush to be able to get it even.

Holo Taco: I grabbed some polishes that been in my wish list for a while. A couple unicorn skins, black flake taco, glow in the dark, existential crisis, never tide down, and midnight spark. I wanted free shipping and figured this is the time to get the more expensive polish that I want. I tend to like "maximalist" nail polishes and I really love linear holo's with a flake topper on them. Burnt bridges with fallen flake on top is great.

This fall it felt like everyone had a Beetlejuice collection. (Which as fantastic, but not great for my budget.) Thankfully Bees Knees is releasing overpour stock for their BF sale, so I have multiple reminders set. I will definitely grab a couple of ILNP shades like Dakota and Salem. Night Owl is one of my favorite brands and their Bob’s Burgers inspired theme at HHC is my favorite collection of the year.

Love this video and series! Aside from my Mooncat and HT hauls, I’m trying out Cracked Polish and Rogue Lacquer for the first time. For Rogue, I picked up their new Opals collection (jelly flakies are my kryptonite), Peacocked, It Glows, and Mermaid Sprinkles. I also can’t wait for their free gift polish, Cactus Bikini.
I haven’t quite narrowed my wishlist for Cracked yet, but I will before Friday. I still haven’t tried ILNP, but that’s definitely at the top of my list for new brands to try next year!

I have ILNP princeton! It’s the same formula IMO as music box, I think I saw you swatch that one. Princeton is one of my favorite greens. Very soft and soothing.

I’m wearing Existential Crisis right now!!! I bought it recently and in my lighting it is very deep teal blue but i only see that when the light isn’t hitting it. The shimmer goes from gold to copper to a fiery deep red. The holo glitters get me thinking of a galaxy. It is so stunning and unique!
I also have one coat of Deep Space from ILNP on top of it as an accent nail and i love seeig the sparkly base thru the sheer black jelly of that magnetic. Under flash and in direct sunlight it is too gorgeous to describe for me. I hope u like it! ❤

ILNP Valentina is one of my faves. It is very sheer and can be worn as a topper or as a standalone polish. Although I don't have any Holo Taco to compare to it, I will say that Valentina is very unique in my collection.

But i just got by dany vianna's november ppu shade feed me, and while i definitely dont think they're dupes they are both white crellies and the ppu one came the same day that kbshimmer's launched. I took that as a sign to be content with what i already ordered. Lol.

LOL better late than never with Eclipse. It's another super shifty polish that's hard to photograph; you need sunlight to see all the shifts. It's my favorite ILNP polish.

If you want other things to up the shipping for kbshimmer, their basics are really good! I love their top coat, glitter smoother, and new hydrating base coat! Their mani shots, lotion, and matte cuticle cream are also really good (the cuticle cream is great for pictures, cause oils can look too oily sometimes)

Omg yes have definitely heard great things about their essentials!! Unfortunately I have too many base & top coats 🥲 I could’ve checked out their lotions!! I only just saw after ordering they had these cuticle oils too, even though I definitely have a lot of those I def would’ve grabbed one of those 🙈 but honestly the matte cuticle cream sounds so cool too, I’ll definitely keep that in mind for future purchases 👀 but thank you friend, you too!! 🤗🤗🤗

I have a random question! Do you happen to know what's up with Starrily? They haven't released anything new since at least March, which seems so odd to me. But for Black Friday they've been restocking just a few colors. Are they struggling, or phasing out or something? Not sure if you've worked with them at all, but I thought you might have some insight. No worries if not though. Thanks! (Also, I have ILNP Annabelle and... oh god, I love it so much. Then again, vampy purpleblacks and redblacks are my kryptonite. Absolutely addicted. I also have Princeton -- was one of the first polishes I ever bought. When you described All Aglow by PFD, the word that came to mind is “Apricity” (the warmth of the sun in winter). Polishes like this are my kryptonite and I would take up polish making just to have all of the colors!

About magnets: here's why I've never felt for cute colorful stuff..
Magnets, especially if they are strong and intended to keep their properties, need to be stored on a so called "keepers", steel or magnetic plates.
Because they weaken and demagnetize with time.
Magnet on a keeper plate is pretty much a forever magnet.
None of the nail brands offer that :) Of course, one can find a keeper and one should, otherwise it is pretty much the same end as with thermal nail polishes.
I was looking for a similar magnet that ILNP is advertising now, but not much of a luck.
And good, because I found a 50lb pull, "ugly red" haha, but a high arch one for the same price as a 30lb pull.
At first I thought so too, meh, ugly, tall, whatever...
But the benefits are clear: after painting comfortably, I simply put my finger in the arch and wait. THE SAME EFFECT is happening. No need to position your finger in a pretty tight space of a relatively small magnet, no need to hold the magnet.
But of course, if others work for someone, why not stick to what works?
Just remember to store your valuable magnet properly.

Editing to add: the Clionadh Pscylo-sibs are gorgeous and kind of retro in a late 80s/ early 90s way, which my elder Millennial heart adores.
I would love to see more swatches of Night Owl Lacquer cremes when you have time. I have what feels like a mile-long crème wishlist from them! The tones are just delicious!
And, I am gunning for the green ILNP magnet when it gets released. 🙈 I like the by Vanessa Molina one but find it can lead to some wonkiness, I think because it’s too wide?

As far as I know Clionadh has never offered free shipping.
The cheapest they offer is about $11-12 dollars
Most items will be discounted at 6% off year round and it stacks on the sale I recommend the code MILLY since she just had a collab with them.
For some of their sales they will give a gift of purchase either an eyeshadow or polish and those help me justify the shipping cost.
So far Clionadh hasn’t mentioned having a GWP for Black Friday but if you’re interested I can remind when they offer a GWP with their Sales if it helps with the cost of shipping!

I feel like it's all about the 3D printed double velvet magnets like the one from Vanessa Molina. It gives the same results but there is more room for your finger. I feel like it's more comfortable to use than the horseshoe magnets.
yeah i’m glad there’s options! i personally don’t find the horseshoe one uncomfortable, but have seen some people say they’re too small, but maybe thats more for the 10-20# pull ones since I think those are physically smaller
i wanna get into kathleen & co so bad bc i've seen loads of swatches of so many of their polishes, but every time i check their website it's just not open. and ik that's something indie brands do sometimes like not keeping a stock of polishes but i really cannot be bothered to keep up with releases in the midst of my busy life just so i can get nail polish, especially when i have other ready options open to me
ah yeah i totally understand that frustration too! 😓 it really is hard to keep up with, especially when soo many smaller indies operate the same way. you really have to be subscribed to their newsletters and join their FB groups, which is annoying 😅
Yeah I saw that Caitlin Swatches video of Kathleen and Co release... And couldn't imagine skipping a single one haha. But also Kathleen & Co is my fave brand and I felt sad because I skipped a couple from the fall release and honestly I regret it.

I shocked myself by skipping mooncat this year. Then again, I feel like they haven't had nearly as many collections and the ones I would want to be buying backups for are all from the Powerpuff collection.
Instead, I went straight to KB Shimmer and I'm waiting for ILNP! Double when my sister told me she wants some good sugar scrubs for Christmas. I think she meant something from Ulta, but she's getting KB Shimmer instead LOL.

You gotta give your opinion on eclipse when you get it, negative or positive! 😂 it’s such a popular multichrome but I’ve also seen it pop up in destashes quite a bit and it’s personally one of my fav polishes ever as a vampy, moody shade lover, so it makes me wonder what other people don’t love about it!
Sadly, even though BF is like ilnp’s only sale of the year and 25% is sooo good, I think I might hold off on buying from them this BF 😢 solely because I think they’re one of the more affordable indie brands and they rarely discontinue shades?
I already bought from HT, Mooncat, and I’m definitely planning to get something from PFD because I picked up QLDI from PPU the other month and I’m sooo obsessed with how they do their shimmers. PFD also has more limited stock (eternal glow feels like it’s always sold out since I found it haha) so I’m aiming for them this sale esp since I know I’ll never order enough for free shipping so it’s either get it during a sale or not at all, that’s my restraint with myself 😂
If the shades I want at PFD end up selling out before I can get to them, then I’ll probably order some from ilnp? But ilnp always feels more affordable to me that I don’t mind ordering from them when there’s not a sale happening! Clionadh has a BF sale on Black Friday. I think I’ve only seen free shipping once. I am a huge fan of their polishes. I also buy way too many of their eye shadows.
I am really drawn to, by Dany Vianna and Bluebird. I can’t decide if I’m going to buy from Cuticula this BF. I think I’ll stick to stockists for most of my polish purchases.
I only plan on buying from PFD, S&S Salad Fingers & Cracked. I did buy from NOL & Maniology already from their sales. As bad as it looks, it’s much better than last year 😂

This is amazing!! I enjoyed the entire video. BUT I would say to skip ILNP Princeton. If you search for other swatch photos, you’ll see it’s almost a creme and the holo is basically non existent

its not on the website yet! they should only have a limited amount of them once listed, the bulk should be available by mid December according to their post. and for cost they commented “we’re thinking $22.50” so kind of confirmed, but could potentially change!
