Not only is his dancing much more technical than it first looks but his skill for timing is absolutely spot-on. No swearing, no sarcastic insults or putdowns, just pure happy funniness that brings a smile to people, and in these hard times that's a rare gift. 👏💯

@@isobelmay4544 Yes he did but my comment, written 4 days ago, referred to his semi-final performance. Although with hindsight it was a pretty defunct point for me to make due to the fact that no swearing in any act on BGT would be allowed anyway.
He's one of those that is just a natural funny guy. To do what he did with the mic , live and so quick is genius

I loved his audition, it was hilarious, largely due to Simon being so obviously annoyed. I wasn't sure where he would go with the semi final and was worried he might just do exactly the same again and it wouldn't go down well. Instead he did this and I was in kinks! Absolutely in hysterics. He has now become one of my all time favourite acts! I love this guy!!
He synced so artistically after judges gave their versions of name. Those looks and imitations were so genuinely genius!
and the fact that it was all thought up on the spot makes it 100 times more impressive

The fact that Viggo’s whole act just went from taking off 1,000,000 stray jackets, to being a genuinely hilarious comedian, is something I did not expect. I was really assuming he was gonna do the same routine he did last time, but I’m glad he didn’t, because this performance was hysterical, especially since he DID actually make Simon laugh

We all need a lite bit of Viggo in our days, its incredible how he literally made this act in live, with nothing like already planned, he just took the risk to trust the judges to do just 1 thing, and make everybody laugh and have fun out of this. He is just a star, i'm having a bad day and i realised i spent the whole video smiling. Thanks Viggo

Act 1 - Funny, but relying on a Gimmick....Act 2 - He showed he's naturally funny and can really work the audience and has great comedic timing. "Hello darling it's Amanda" had me in stitches.

There is something so uproariously funny about Viggo's act that reminds me of those great comedians of my youth in the 60s 70s and 80s. Viggo Venn is head and shoulders better than any other comedy act on this current season of bgt. He absolutely deserves a place in the final at the very least.

@@hugohackenbush1554 definitely, it’s rare seeing these types of comedians nowadays. I absolutely love Jim carrey, his humour is so simple yet it always puts a smile on my face. Viggo gives off the same vibe, just simple funny comedy. Love him already.
@@Duddy8822 I was blessed to have seen Carey live in Boulder, Colorado back in the early 80s while we were touring. We had a rare Friday off, so myself and the other road crew went out on the lash. We wound up at a comedy club, yep, it did actually have a two drink minimum, which we heartily embraced! Can't remember the MC or the first and second acts but I'll never forget the headliner. Jim Carrey. He did just over 55 minutes (which included three encores) and was beyond amazing. Never seen anyone as good since.
Gets buzzed by Simon in the audition. Comes back and wins the Semi. Now that is talent.

VENN life is a real challenge for many people, its absolute therapy to watch Viggo. I could just watch him all day - who needs a therapist. We all need a Viggo and that is why he smashed it with everyone.
"Venn" means Friend in Norwegian so his name is basically Viggo Friend.
The guy is naturally hilarious. Great timing. I’m sure his close people are well-entertained all day.
Definitely deserved to win, his talent is holding the room, keeping momentum and making people laugh at the same time, no easy feat!

🎉Viggo Venn has set the record for being the first to win in the Got Talent franchise after being buzzed by Simon Cowell at his audition, making it to the finals & winning the heart of Simon! ❤ I’ve been watching BGT&AGT since 2012 & I know that this is NOT an easy task at all! And I think the respect for all workers who wear the Hi-Vis vest might have contributed to the public votes as well! I’m happy for Viggo, although, my heart also goes out to the Ghetto kids, Musa Motha & Malakai Bayoh as well.. I hope they all do well in life!🎉💕😎👼

Loved this act tonight. Got all my votes. Thought the "My name is" routine was brilliant. Noticed he has done comedy shows before and even the Edinburgh Fringe too. Hope to see more of the wacky humour in the final. Also, from now on, whenever I see a worker in Hi-Vis, it will make me smile cos i just know I will end up thinking of this :D
Viggo is actually really funny and such a natural comedian, so charming and goofy just like Charlie Chaplin or Buster Keaton. I loved him and I would kinda like to see him win
