How can you find out if you where not told if you where in the will one family member all yhe rest stranger where mentioned ...
If you are in the Will, you should receive a notice from the attorney handling the probate case. However, if you are not in the Will, depending upon what state you are in, there may not be a requirement to notify you. Nevertheless, this does not stop you from researching to determine if a probate case has been filed. If so, in most instances, you can get a copy of the Will.
This really sounds like common sense. There's not a single item on that list which I think would be appropriate for a will.
It sounds like common sense to you. However, the reason those 10 items were highlighted as things not to put in a Will is because I see them in wills every day. They are common mistakes.
actually I thought explaining why (beneficiary is or isn't getting anything) makes sense. But then after hearing Vernita's explanation, I now see that is dumb (it should be in a separate document that can be passed down i.e. trust)
