I would have really liked to see a TF movie about the Autobots and Decepticons in hiding. They had that at the start, sure, but didn't have the Decepticons point of view. They then later abandoned the idea and then Optimus immediately healed from scanning a new form. AOE would have been so much better if it had Optimus utterly battered like he was. However, he's like that for the entire movie. We could have been given a sub-plot about maybe an Autobot and Decepticon working together to hide from the humans. Then Optimus gets found by a human, and after a heated interaction, they start to look out for each other. Due to all of the events in the previous three movies (TF, ROTF, and DOTM) Optimus would have developed basically PTSD, and have episodes of flashbacks to different points in the war. One battle especially affecting him, that battle being the forest fight, as the feel of dying and coming back to life would definitely scar you. You probably didn't even read all of this, or i'm shit at telling stories.
This would've been likely to be an okay plot but I think it'd only work if the third film followed the ending from its book where Optimus Prime accepted Megatron's truce and the Autobots and Decepticons were no longer hostile to each other
As an amateur animator , I'm wondering how these models were made. As a bunch of layers that shift into position on a robo body or something else? Very impressed.
Is that Optimus Prime hiding with a family becuase he was done making movies and Bay and his crew came looking for him doing bad things to get Optimus Prime in the movie.
This literally has nothing in common with a G1 despite what people would say the only things in common are is it's a flat nose truck and that it's Optimus Prime G1 was a Freightliner this is not

It's so sad how they did a complete 180 on his character in these movies. Turning him into a bloodthirsty killer instead of the noble, kind and merciful leader he's meant to be.
I think this change is part of the character, Optimus is my favorite autobot and I know that originally, it is meant as being merciful and wise to his opponents, but it's hard to be merciful and forgivable to your enemies, if your planet it's destroyed and almost all of your friends died because of them. I believe that his becoming ruthless, and bloodthirsty with his enemies, is a direct consequence of everything he has been through.
I finally realized that Prime here also does that 360 noscope shot that Prime in the movie did, and one of his head-spike ear things came off. Nice attention to detail!
I like the detail you made in the animation of him staggering during his transformation and when he moves around to emphasis how the rust of his form is affecting him
Just watched it.... Amazing. You've improved so much with actual enemies on screen in the form of humans and all the angles at which we see Optimus and the movement the movement!!! It was all refined to a tee it was amazing and all the HD!!! I'm fanboying aren't I?

TFP prime is a lot more kind and forgiving than bayformers prime
