They just fucking want some money and that shit’s just messed up, especially that goddamned slime. People need to just leave it alone let these people rest in peace instead of trying to make a museum out of it. How would it be if I make a museum of someone's tragedy they wouldn't like it that much or at all so why do what about the Titanic just let them rest in peace without trying to do a money grab.
whilst i do think the gift shop is in poor taste and there are aspects of certain titanic museums that are in poor taste, the overall idea of a museum dedicated to a major event that changed the society and safety measures around ships is fine. the titanic happened over a hundred years ago at this point, it was such a massive ship, with such an interesting culture on board and that was luxury like most hasn’t experienced before. the way in which it sank and the senseless tragedy surrounding it all has interested ppl since it literally happened. a movie about it was put out only a month after the sinking. ppl have unfortunately been doing little money grabs for decades upon decades at this point. at least the bulk of the museums is meant to educate about the ship, the event and humanize the victims and overall be respectful. whereas on the flip side a literal survivor was forced to star in the movie about the titanic sinking just a month after it happened…talk about a cash grab and not being respectful…all survivors have since passed and whilst it’s important to respect the dead and respect the tragedy that took place, some of y’all need to understand that it happened over 100 years ago. some museums are a given and overall they aren’t disrespectful. again, the gift shop is another story but there’s many sombering and educational parts of the museum.
Yes the more respectful thing is to let everything they had be dissolved by bacteria at the bottom of the ocean, rather than preserving anything for their memory...
I agree! Much better and less profit oriented. The Irish built it, not the Americans. They explain the history of that ship (and its passengers) MUCH better

But usually if you go to a gift shop for a tragedy museum, you don't see goofy toys. The 9/11 memorial doesn't have stuffed flaming planes. Tone is the issue. This museum should be less gimmicky and a little more respectful.
It should just be a walk through museum with memorial.
I agree it is in bad taste
Sorry, I didn't mean to laugh
@@notsheepish8304 It's so absurd it's funny while simultaneously being horrible.
LOL
i went to the titanic museum and i really enjoyed it! i want to go again!
One of our crew was honored to have the opportunity to play the piano on display here. The tour guide was so informative & kind.
Fun fact a 3rd class ticket to the titanic used to cost around 10USD
I BEEN TO ON OF THOSE I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!
This looks amazing! Where is this ?
I went in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! It’s a very touristy area
@@love4logaan huh, id expect it to be in Ireland or somewhere that was involved in its creation.
@mrminkman952 there is one in Southampton not as impressive as this but still quite good it has a driving sim and morse code things
Some say it's in Branson, MO. Some say it's in Pigeon Forge,TN. The latter is supposed to be the best
Oceangate left the chat
I love that it’s complete with iceberg❤❤❤
The person I got at the museum it was a Jewish baby and it was thrown overboard but then it survived and someone tried stealing me but then the mom got me back so yeah it was very fun
💀
Whaaat??!
OMG I WENT THERE IT WAS SO FUN YOU EVEN GET A CHARACTER AT THE BEGINNING AND YOU GET TO SEE IF HE OR SHE SURVIVED OR NOT
Yeah, they said that in the video.
That menu is far better than expected!
Damn, I don't know what they ate back in 1912 but the third class menu ain't half bad. Also, wtf is they selling on the gift shop??
What is it with the popularity of the the f word?!
Read Psalms 109 verse 17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him:as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him." There's other scripture too. Just try to break the habit. Not condemning you. The f word is just so overly used these days.
The first fucking class had to pay a lot of goddamned money, too, so I am sure their food was fucking scrumptious! Like, they probably ate that shit and were like “damn, that some fucking delicious food, like goddamn, that chef is a motherfucking genius!” And that gift shop is so fucked up. They just fucking want some money and that shit’s just messed up, especially that goddamned slime. The only explanation I can think of is maybe it is for the little kids; it would be way more fucking inappropriate if an adult got it for themselves.
@lisabaker9036 Yes, it's so overused it doesn't even have the same impact
@@lisabaker9036 is not the popularity, Lisa. Is what I want to use.
Oh I didn't know it was Christmas when the boat sank.
It was April 15th
@@laurad324 Thanks but it's called sarcasm.
They modeled it after a sister ship for Christmas 🎄 🤧
It was April 15th? Maybe they should permanently decorate it with a tax-filing theme.
Been here and it’s awesome!!!
People need to just leave it alone let these people rest in peace instead of trying to make a museum out of it. How would it be if I make a museum of someone's tragedy they wouldn't like it that much or at all so why do what about the Titanic just let them rest in peace without trying to do a money grab.
I hope you pray for them, never forget the dead, there memories should be kept alive so that people pray for their souls.
whilst i do think the gift shop is in poor taste and there are aspects of certain titanic museums that are in poor taste, the overall idea of a museum dedicated to a major event that changed the society and safety measures around ships is fine. the titanic happened over a hundred years ago at this point, it was such a massive ship, with such an interesting culture on board and that was luxury like most hasn’t experienced before. the way in which it sank and the senseless tragedy surrounding it all has interested ppl since it literally happened. a movie about it was put out only a month after the sinking. ppl have unfortunately been doing little money grabs for decades upon decades at this point. at least the bulk of the museums is meant to educate about the ship, the event and humanize the victims and overall be respectful. whereas on the flip side a literal survivor was forced to star in the movie about the titanic sinking just a month after it happened…talk about a cash grab and not being respectful…all survivors have since passed and whilst it’s important to respect the dead and respect the tragedy that took place, some of y’all need to understand that it happened over 100 years ago. some museums are a given and overall they aren’t disrespectful. again, the gift shop is another story but there’s many sombering and educational parts of the museum.
Yes the more respectful thing is to let everything they had be dissolved by bacteria at the bottom of the ocean, rather than preserving anything for their memory...
RIP to all 4 souls from the Titan.
Was one of the passengers soulless?
@@allendracabal0819the ceo got all 5 of them killed, he knew it wasn’t safe
F the ceo
Go to the belfast museum for a proper look at the ships history aswell as the construction
I agree! Much better and less profit oriented.
The Irish built it, not the Americans. They explain the history of that ship (and its passengers) MUCH better
@@p_filippouz I know because I'm from Northern Ireland where the museum is located and it's one of the best if not the best titanic museum in the world
Where was this museum at?
There’s one in Branson, MO and London
@@Neotheaterr Thank you. I've been to the one in Branson actually but this was back in 2006 and they did not have the passenger cards or the water temperature thing. Maybe they've updated it since then.
There’s also one in Belfast where it was made that’s got a roller coaster and talks abd architecturally it’s quite interesting
35 dollars entree????
Making money of Disaster 😐
How else do they get money for the museum?
Damn thats beautiful ❤️💯

If you’re wondering where it’s at it’s in Tennessee it’s awesome go check it out. You also can feel how cold the water was .
It would be so funny if Hockley bought the "Heart of the Ocean" from the Titanics gift shop😂
That weird moment when a ticket to the replica costs the same as the tickets for the real one used to cost
I went here a few years ago with my family on vacation (Branson location) and we had so much fun!!!
Fun place to go I’ve been 3 times with my family and friends great place
Oh and also I lasted 43 seconds in the water
