The first one 1 I ever did was a Flip-flap folio. It was so easy and I loved it! I did those for quite a few years. Then I saw the mini albums and thought those looked sturdier. So I started doing those. Which one I do depends on how much time I have and where it will be going in the end. I like folios for their quickness but the albums because they are sturdier.
Hi, an interesting question. I prefer to make folios just because they are quicker, but then I want the folios to be sturdy so I have started add more layers to make them super strong. In that regard I prefer mini albums as they are more durable, but then you have the issue of cracking on the spine and the hinges. I don't enjoy constructing the albums, much prefer decorating and matting. The first proper album I ever made was one Laura from Follow the Paper Trail, it was a baby album.
@@asameen75 I hate when the hinge cracks!! But you can fix it with wet glue. I keep going back and forth with chipboard covers for my folios. I'm always worried that something will fall apart
