I'll be visiting SF soon and this gave me an idea of what to expect and I feel better informed now to make this National Park visit or not considering that we have a 4 yo and a 2 yo. If you are ever in Western Australia, you should visit The Valley of the Giants. Very similar in sheer size, but there are walkways all the way "up there", which is quite unique.

a word of caution . if you are going to rent a car make sure you prepay the toll for crossing the Golden Gate bridge AT The place where you rent the car , otherwise you will get a nasty surprise in the mail.
I grew up just over the hill from Muir woods in the fifties . my advice is go very early in the morning , find a quiet spot if possible , sit down , close the eyes and ,,,,,
You do the same thing what I do, traveling to explore the beautiful places. I live in Florida but traveling right now. The matter of fact I visited today Muir Woods National Monument. Very cool place to see these massive trees so close to San Francisco 👍

What kind of camera are you using? The whole 360 sequence starting at timestamp 4.25 looks like you may have a 360 camera like insta360 or similar... Just curious :)
This was filmed majority on our iPhone! It’s can go pretty wide. It’s funny cause we wanted to get the insta360 for this trip but just used our iPhones instead 😆
