    I’ve been using the GC bands for over 10 years now and cannot practice without them! So glad DRE is bringing them to the Uk as I used to have to import them from the US. When you have those deep subgingival lesions that are difficult to seal, the GC band is what I reach for.

    Crazy because GC has actually changed how I diagnose and treat. A matrix band has transformed how I work!

    I love the Greater Curve bands and have been using them since 2008. I find they are indispensable in achieving total isolation in deep margin situations. Over the years the product range has grown to provide solutions for many restorative applications.

    Absolute genius system has been a game changer for me using the greater curve matrix bands. Great contacts and isolation is brilliant in tough situations

    I learnt about the greater curve bands from Dr Sunny and I would recommend them to any dentist! You’ll enjoy attending his course. Since learning about them, they have become a part of my essential selection of equipment! 😎

    Been using Greater curve for a few months now. Changed the way I practice and saved many teeth that were destined for the scrap heap.
    Abolute game changer!!!

    No rubber dam and no sectional.. what is this sacrilege! Convincing stuff.. I'm looking at course dates!

    I use automatrix for everything, absolutely love the system. The only con is the twisty instrument can unwind after a bit of use and require replacement. I've not had any success w/ a sectional.

    Hi Jaz wouldn’t using the probe with the flowable composite give you an overhang?
    I am having a bit of trouble visualising that technique.
    Super content as always
    Totally sold on the Greater Curve. Need to sort out a date for the course 😊

    Amazing contact as always Jaz.
    What is the use of creating the hole on the band proximally?

    • @protrusive
      @protrusive  Год назад

      thanks! it's to achieve a contact (quite literally) with the adjacent tooth

    • @aadilcassamally8213

      @@protrusivewon't the composite stick to the adjacent tooth through the hole we've made interproximally ?

    • @protrusive
      @protrusive  10 месяцев назад +1

      it will but only as good as composite sticks to unetched and unbonded enamel ie. very easy to break that bond. I have not had issues with this except just once when I got the matrix stuck but that was a path of removal issue I had!

      Thank you, at 48.05, you asked if we can use a wedge with a standard band. I didn't quite understand how it'll reduce its efficacy..

    • @protrusive
      @protrusive  10 месяцев назад +1

      @aadilcassamally8213 by adding a wedge you tend towards opening the contact. Have you achieved a decent contact before, but then by entering the wedge the contact is lost? That.

      @@olkooptimistic Hi Oliver. My go to are the stainless steel standard, wide and u band and the brass u band. However the Starter kit is a great place to start, as you can try them all and see which work best in your workflow. We have many dentists who only order the microthin range for example.
