Might be overcomplicated but maybe use like a 12v heater hose valve or something of that nature coming off the sediment filter, and some bilge pump plumbing sending that out of the boat. Then just a button or switch before you cut the engine off after the run? Just brainstorming for an easier experience. Im sure someone more experienced with the application can suggest a real system LOL
