Most french tanks are great. Like the AMX lights, Batchat, Lorr. 40t, Borat and the autoloader heavies. You need to master the game in every aspect to be successful with them because of their lack of armor and mediocre accuracy. But when you make them work it feels more rewarding than with any other nation.
Every time skill says "patience, we have all time in world of tanks" it always makes me happy and every time I play I constantly her that in my head and it has improved my gameplay a lot
One of my best battles happened in this masterpiece. :) 7 kills, 7k combined, i won a 4v1 endgame and my last shell killed the arty in the last 3 seconds. That was my first acewanker in this tank. Love it!
4 seconds are right. good penetration and good dmg... less second, pen and dmg risk to be nerfed... better remain so, a good tank to support heavies against heavies. maybe 33-34 second against 38 seconds standard and +3 degrees of gun could be perfect. in any case i found char future one of few tanks in game well balanced. is not an easy tank to play and is not a tank for all. for token who don t have ae phase is a great tank. i ll go for the obj777 so i ll have the triade 🤣.

That last battle is perfect, Skill. I think I'm enlightened about the importance of woodcutting at the early game in that map, would also do the same next time I got the map. Also looking forward to get Char for myself this season, it seems to be fitting for my playstyle really well
I don't own any of the tanks available for tokens, but my impression of them was that both the char futur and AE Phase I are quite good. I'm personally going to go for Char Futur because I enjoy that play style and I'm quite close to getting the bat chat.
Yep, this is the way. I missed out on expeditions and frontline ae reward before, this will be my first time getting reward tank. I'll probably go for paid battle pass as well and get both the char and ae.
I went first on the AE Phase I because I'm sure that it is a strong tank and that it will be rather easy to play. With an autoloader it's not easy to play, and as I'm not sure of ending the battle pass, I prefer to take it as my last choice.
this vehicle is probably my favorite one from the expedition event. as much as the blyat troll russian vehicle dominates and the AE phase 1 invulnerably sits on ridgelines and cucks even tier 10 heavies. theres something special about this tank and basically being a tier 9 batchat with better shells and accuracy.
Hey Skill, at the start of your videos, could you please make sure you have the "firepower" and maybe "mobility" stats open on the right? Just so we can remind ourselves what the tanks stats are like before we go into the game, because as if I can remember what the gun handling is like for every tank. Thank you :)

I got mine yesterday and I love it! Excellent tank, you can't do yolo attacks (like the bourrasque) but the gun is fantastic and the armor works quite well. The only problem is that in today's fast battles it's been impossible for me to get over 4K because of the high reload time. Or maybe it's just me and I still need to get used to the tank. BTW, can you try the Leo 1 with Bounty Vents, Bounty Improve Aiming, Bounty Stabilizer and food? I Get 0.23 dispersion with that setup, it's insane. Have a nice day :)
I swear to the lord all mighty! Skill makes this game look so eazy! Meanwhile me and my cousin with 2000+ WN8 can't even get a night were we can't get more than 57% WR.
4 seconds is a ridiculously low intra-clip reload. You can play the E50 with bounty rammer, food, and Brother in arms and get 3,100 DPM with a 7.54 reload and 390 alpha. The Char Futur has only 1,920 DPM with 390 alpha, with Brother in Arms and food, the clip reload is 36.72 seconds plus another 12 seconds because of the 4 seconds between each shot in the clip. War Gaming should buff the intro-clip reload to at least 3 seconds or even 2.5. I think 1,200 DPM is far too much of a penalty to pay for having a autoloader with a 4 second intra-clip reload. The problem with this tank is that because the really long intra-clip reload, you end up going for a full reload after just 1 or 2 shots, far more often than you do when playing tanks like the tier 9 Skoda T50 or tier 9 BatChat which have only 1.8 and 2.73 intra-clip reloads respectively. So your DPM on the Char ends up being far lower than 1,920. I think Skoda T-50 is a far more competitive tank because you have 960 alpha per magazine that you can shoot on just 3 seconds and then your reload is only 19.75 seconds. The Char takes 4 seconds to shoot the first 2 shots for only 780 alpha and then you often end up going for a reload of 36.72 seconds so your DPM is more like 1,100.
Despite of 4s interclip, it's one of my favorite tanks in the game, in my top 5. I have so much fun, not epic damages, but so much fun. I don't even need golds because pirosamyies pen are epic for this class ans tier.
Char Futur is the main aim of Battle Pass for me. Not interested in the mew tanks, this is the one I have my eye on. Thanks for the video, great insight.
I picked the ae first but I’m hoping i can unlock the char 4 before its over. I’m not that good in med especially auto loaders but i want the tank because it’s different. I just wish it had a faster intra-clip reload i love the t50 I’m just not that good in it. I try to watch videos of players that are much better than me including yourself. I quit playing for a long time and just got back into it and still learning the best map positions. I’ve been playing since the beta.
I love the Char Futur, but certainly would not say that the gun handling is good (it very obviously is not), but the excellent shell velocity and solid base accuracy help it out quite a bit. I have bounty stabilizer on mine and to me it needs it.

Like I said, the base accuracy and shell velocity help alot, but I still would never consider running it with no stabilizer. That being said, Skill's 6 skill crew and the use of food make a big difference as well.
My only regret about leaving wot for other more fun activities late last spring was not getting the char futur. Hopefully I'm gonna get it this year from battle pass.

Beautiful, beaufitul tank. BUT(!) the most beautiful is our Baboon King! Amazing games! At the same time, I kind of wonder how much help is the Improved aiming unit, when it means sacrificing vert stabs for example? Yet to try this build, as I run v.stabs,IRM and vents on mine for maximum gun handling...
remember that the Char has 4s intra-clip reload, so you don't need that much of dispersion-after-shot reduction from double-stacking those 2 equips. In fact, you will be fine with V.stab/IRM only. Base accuracy matters much more for autoloaders/autoreloaders.
@@baohungle5410 I get your point there. Having said that, I found with some autoloaders, such as tvp at tier 10, that IRM plus Stabs together work more when you're doing flanking and such. But guess you're right, with long intra-clip one might get away with only one of them.

I would do the same with T57 Heavy because it mainly fights in close-ranged combats and its base dispersion on the move is horrible. For BC 25t, it's hard to choose between Bounty Aiming or Rotation Mechanism, I think both can work very well just with different cases. Rotation Mech for close-ranged bursts and Aiming for better sniping. For Progetto 65, definitely Bounty Aiming + V.Stab + Vent.

French mediums are one of the most fun tanks to play honestly. Sneaky assassins are hilarious to play, but not when you lose 1k hp from arty

The Char 4 has become one of my favorite tanks in the game. If they ever change that inner clip reload this tank would be epic.

best choice for sure , but only if you like to play that style. A bit of camping, sniping and finishing the enemy when needed.
It's the best if you like and can do the sneaky assassin gameplay. If you're not into it there's also AE which is also really nice at its own role.

Char, Phase 1. Those are the best ones. The 777 isn't anything special
