Awesome time 🙌
Thanks for that time travel back 🙏 stuff i forgot wow
We Love you Chris, Pirate forever ❤️
Amazing video Chris - it's always so good to hear your story. This video has come at the perfect time, too, with just over a week until Fast Fingers 21. I'd recommend anyone interested in fingerboarding to make the trip - it's an eye-opening event that shows you how big the hobby truly is. I've met some friends for life through travelling for fingerboarding, and I'm sure it's something I'll continue to do for a long time.
What an awesome ride, thanks for taking us along!! It's so cool how you got to meet and get to know all the OG German fingerboarders!
Have you traveled for fingerboarding? Let me know where!
I traveled a couple times to berlin, twice to schwarzenbach(again next week for fast fingers) to bonn and most recently to prague for King of prague. I love fingerboard trips!
finally after 12 years or so of fongerboarding finally this year I took out to meet people who also fingerboard. Recently traveled to Sunnyvale little passed san fran to go to my first event. Got to be a Vendor and sell obstacles, prob my best memory this year already
Just travelled 3 hours 2 weeks ago to sausage fest in pennsylvania and had a blast and won a competition
Tons! From Chicago to Vous, Ohio, Indianapolis, Wisconsin, and more!
The Steig loves you! ❤️🙏🫵🤩🍀
it’s crazy looking back. incredible where we’ve been and where we are going
What a wild ride! Thank you for sharing your experiences. It made me remember alot of mine as well. I remember that laser tag game being super fun! Ollie was insistent that I come play with you guys but I wasn't too sure about it. Finally I gave in and was so glad that I did. Thank you so much for the shout out at 5:30 From day one I knew you were an amazing soul and it was so awesome to reconnect with you this year at Vous 35 and FingerboardCon 2. You will forever have a friend in me.
Great video! I love that fingerboarding comes with so many cool life experiences, one time I traveled my bike to a friends house to fingerboard, it was epic.
Wow pretty awesome story! Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Chris this was awesome - I've always wanted to go to Germany and the spots, but this video sealed it. It's gotta happen
Man this is beautiful to watch, you really lived the fingerboarders dream for a while! I feel like this is something I missed out on, or never had the chance to even do. I never went anywhere, was never invited anywhere and I was often ignored by those big companies and friend groups, so I always ended up sorting things out over here in London. It was a lot of fun but it felt so disconnected from the rest of the fingerboard world. I wish I was able to go to these sorts of things. Taylors Germany trip video is by far my favourite video on youtube and I always wished I could have done something similar with the flatface and BRR lot.
Yeah I kinda get what you mean about the London scene being sort of disconnected. It's a shame reallt
The legend himself! Hope you've been doing good, and that sucks to hear, i would've expected you to have those moments considering how big you were to me when I was little.
I just travelled to Toronto to visit 6Skates, and I introduced my friend and his brother to the fingerboard community! Had so much fun, and Im even posting a vlog on it next week! Fingerboarding saved my life
I have been fortunate enough to travel to Washington for Fingerboarding and I love Fingerboarding and you Chris! Great video buddy thanks for the entertainment it’s greatly appreciated!
what a legendary time! last year was definitely the best year I've had for fingerboarding. In 2023 I went to 10 events total including slushcult, sorry, usafbl, slowfingers and more which most of them I traveled to. Not to mention the handful of other seshes and meetups with old and new friends around the country. The highlight was definitely visiting ASI berlin for a week then traveling to schwarzenbach to visit BRR HQ, attend slowfingers, and hang at martins house and the steig. I know what you mean when you say dreams come true, meeting the people and visiting places I've been watching on youtube my whole life was an incredible experience that I'll never forget. Next week I'm leaving for Fast Fingers to judge the competition and hang out with friends from all over the world! #thankyoufingerboarding
Ok that is so epic too!!! Have a great time at FF - wish I was there 😭
@@cdplaya thank you! I hope to meet you at an event sometime:)
such a awesome video
This was a great video. Really gives us some insight on your fingerboarding journey and history. I'm sure there's still countless stories to have to tell.
I really enjoyed the history of fingerboarding, would love to know the history of fingerboard grip!
This is awesome!!
Since I conveniently live in Mass I've only been to the flatface place back when it was in North Andover still like 3 or 4 times, haven't been to since.
I went to boston for the ff x usafbl event which was 2,000 miles away from me.
I’m Inspired
Will you be going to Fast Fingers next week?
I wish 😭
Do another U.S tour!!!!!
