So this took me nearly 2 months to complete because I am the SLOWEST person on this planet when it comes to finishing artwork, but I made it my goal to get this out right before s8 dropped.
I went into this imagining what other visions Keith may have had when he was traveling through the quantum abyss with Krolia. A lot of people were wondering as to why Keith was so distant to Lance once he returned to team Voltron in s6, and I personally want to believe it may have been something he saw during a vision, maybe something involving lance and allura, so this is the result of that theory!
Anyways, here is to Klance possibly becoming canon in s8, Im hoping this video DOESNT age well, lol.

I genuinely wouldn't have been mad about Allura and Lance ending up together if they hadn't fucked it up so spectacularly. genuinely I'm racking my brains as to why they couldn't just let Lance be happy like either have Allura live and have them be together or show that he moves on after an appropriate period of grief

Did you see baby Lotor omg) seriously though, Allura and Lances relationship could have been great if they had actually started with it and built up to their relationship instead of just forcing it through the 2 last seasons those two got little to no cute moments at the start of the show
Also!!!!! who! Is! Matt’s! GF!?!? And who’s Shiro’s husband!!! And did Shay and Hunk ever get together???!!! Seriously they left out so many important parts, and how they killed off Luca so quick was almost exactly like Adam

2- Keith was the one suffering since the begining and we never saw our baby cry

He is such a great character and deserved so much better (not saying Allura isn’t good enough for him..but you know, Klance!?)
You know who else deserved better?? Lotor! Holly crap when Zarkon and Hagger destroyed that planet and made him watch it burn...that actually hurt...and with his parents, it’s no wonder he was the bad guy...but baby Lotor!!!!!!

We still thrive even when our ship did not become truly canon. This is who the klance shippers truly are.
We aren’t some toxic group of people who force things on the creators just for LGBT+ rep. No. We’re so much more than that.
We want to see these two characters happy. We see something in their personality that some others don’t. Gay, straight, lesbian it’s not about that. It’s about the characters. It’s about the community. I personally love the klance shippers, All the AU’s and art are brilliant so this is why I won’t stop shopping klance. No matter how much allurance was forced and canonized I won’t stop shipping these two.
I can’t loose his family that’s been created off of this show and I hope some other people feel the same.
So hey dreamworks, do what you want with them. It doesn’t matter to me.

the art is good, the gestures each character does is completely within personality, the throwback to all the show’s canon memories HURT, and ugh- the blue and red star symbolism like shut uP i die

my favorite has to be just- when you frame Lance in that pose, with his hands in his pockets and giant smile, and like- that’s LANCE, that’s lance. that’s the joker and carefree bby from seasons 1-3 that we love and that’s exactly who Keith fell in love with and ugh i cry it’s whatever

Jeremy shada said “lance isn’t going to be someone rebound he’s- he’s gonna be someone’s first choice you know cuz lance wants to feel love right.” And who did Allura go to first, lotor. Thing didn’t work out so she went to lance “the next best thing” Keith had been there for lance. Keith has help lance. Keith had to watch as lance fell in love with someone who didn’t even give a SHIT about him!!! Keith was there when Allura NEVER was. Besides they are a good team. Thank you and good bye.
the crew never expected klance to be popular and so it wont be happening. And if Lance magically liked Keith, its more forced than Allurance. I believe Lance and Allura love eachother. Allura always told Lance her problems. She always came to him and told him stories about her father she never told the paladins.
They love eachother. And Allura realized that when they became closer when Lotor disappeared. She knew him more. She understood him and his maturity much more.

Every ship on Voltron can have some evidence to. I support all ships and I see what your getting at... but the creators of the show do what the fans want. They may not do it EXACTLY the way we want it but they do. Yes the klance ship was unexpected but Voltron noticed how much people in joyed it. See since it is the most popular ship and allurance is a very unpopular ship they will more likely lean on klance. If they don’t decide to have klance canon in the end then we can both agree that MOST of the fans will NOT be satisfied. I do believe that the allurance ship has hope... yet have you noticed how close keith and lance have gotten. They went from “ rivals “ to friends. And who did LANCE go to for HIS problems. Not hunk, Not pidge, and not even not shiro. He went to Keith. We can tell that the allurance will be canon is the FIRST part of Voltron. Also Jeremy shada said “I think you guys are going to like lances endgame.” Fans will in joy klance WAY more that allurance.

S8 was such a clusterfuck I never finished it and never will. I love Voltron with all my heart but it's a painful reminder of what could have been. It went from being something amazing to an utter disappointment. It's not even because klance wasn't made canon, but just how everything was handled. Voltron is my one regret in life no matter how much I love it because I had let it into my heart and it completely ripped it out.

Doofs yeah even though throughout the rest of the fandom we’re considered to be nice and pure we seem to be pretty mean to klance shippers (if you’re one of those) it’s because we think your toxic or something. I personally, have met many talented and amazing klancers who are really nice.
