      Yeah, I can't believe they didn't catch these issues before letting it out in the wild. It's a fun truck when working!

      REVolutionX RC I’m looking for the right sliders before I do anything else to it I don’t want to ruin the body any thoughts on that you could share

      @@plukensteinpaint Yes, I'm using some sliders originally for the SCX10 v1. I'm not sure I'm completely satisfied with them though. I'll post a video up when I make a decision.

    Use a scx10 two piece axle problem solve also put two 7mm shims behind the crown gear in the center axle no more clicking

      Yup, the older SCX10II 3 piece axles were stronger, and I feel better than the 1 piece. Helpful tips!

    sooo I had a wierd experience straight out the box with some differential binding up on the front one. tore the whole diff apart and assembled back and when looking at the rear diff turns out my front diff was missing a bearing. the one that goes on the diff pinion shaft that connects to the driveshaft, basically the driveshafts sits on the bearing eliminating the need to shim it.

    • @RevolutionX
      @RevolutionX  3 года назад +1

      I'd definitely call up Horizon and have them take care of the missing front bearing! I've got a video coming out this weekend on 5 things that I've found helpful to do straight out of the box. Keep an eye out for it!

      @@RevolutionX looked up the bearing and bearing size and lucky for me traxxas Wheel hub bearings are exactly the same size as the one I was missing

    Hello what actual drive shafts would u than recommend knowing now what u installed in this video?

    • @RevolutionX
      @RevolutionX  2 года назад +1

      Junfac makes a set specifically for the 6x6, but I'd really just go look for any 2-piece driveshafts that have the correct lengths. The main thing to avoid is any 3-piece driveshaft setup that uses an insert between the 2 ends.

    • @ChucknLindseyJeep
      @ChucknLindseyJeep 2 года назад

      Will these Junfac shafts work with the MOFO 3D printed tranny

    • @RevolutionX
      @RevolutionX  2 года назад

      @@ChucknLindseyJeep Only the front 2 will. Due to the nature of the Mofo tranny, you need to find the correct length shafts for the 2nd rear tranny output to the transfer case and from the transfer case to the last axle. I suppose I should finally install that setup sooner or later. I'll make a video of it when I do.

    The SSD 85MM doesn't fit middle to rear axle for anybody looking

      @RevolutionX  4 года назад +1

      Thanks for the info! Good to know. I think the Junfac ones are probably still the best option right now.

      Not yet, I'm carefully watching for any signs of it happening though. I plan to shim the middle axle sooner or later.

    Whats up Soze? Do you have a thread on rccrawler.com to talk about your builds? I was going to buy UMG 6 when they came out but ive held out. But i think a trx6 is going to be my first 6x6.

    • @RevolutionX
      @RevolutionX  4 года назад +3

      Not yet for the 6x6. I'm a little behind on RCCrawler. Adding my presence to social media has been exhausting and time consuming as well as my regular day job. The TRX6 is really good. I just got this because of the sale and I like the body. Also a good opportunity as a project, because I already have several SCX10.2 rigs to pull parts from.
