    Edifier S2000MKIII was recorded in DYNAMIC mode to bring it closer to Klipsch's smily face, boosted sound signature

    As a standalone I don't think the Klipsch is horrible, but just sounds to muffled without the spacing of a 2 speaker system.

    Nice one! The difference is incredible. Would it be possible for you to compare the Klipsch against something like AudioPro T3, or similar from AudioPro?... Thank you.

    Edifier = bass + mid + treble, Klipsch = bass + treble

    • @DSRT888
      @DSRT888 2 года назад

      It kinda makes sense though, as our ears are already most sensitivty to the mid range, why not make the music a bit more noticiable on the high and low end. Giving better seperation of instruments. Or possibly in this case the Klipsch is giving a false sense of clarity.

    I recently bought a s2000mkiii. Can it improve the sound quality If i add an external dac around 100$ (like schitt modi 3) rather than using optical input built in the speaker? Kindly reply🙏

      In my office, I have my s2000mkiii's hooked up to a Fiio k5 pro(an integrated headphone dac/amp) via the back lineout connections. Which then functions like a pre amp to the speakers amp. So in short yes in all aspects. Tho I will say, most notably, the low end is significantly brought out and extended in comparison to when I just hooked them up to my pc via optical, so I would very much say yes. Its funny because having done that some years ago and comparing to my other 'higher end' amps and passive setups, the Edifiers almost frustrate me with how competent they actually are. I know many enthusiasts shun or even despise active speakers, but these are just incredible. I dont even need sub with them since hooking them up to the Fiio, the bass extends into the 20s(not sure if theyre supposed but they do with little distortion) without boost or eq and the knobs at 0. Hope this helps

      @@blobeyeordie thank you so much for the detailed reply and your time🙏. My friend has a Spektor 1 speaker from dali with some Yamaha 2ch receiver with 40w/ch. Still, the edifier has a fuller sound that resonates in my chest at certain lows (it can produce the whole bass drop in the song named bambro koyo ganda by bonobo😇).

      Not strange for me. I've heard many people argued that lifestyle speakers (Klipsch, Marshall, JBL, etc) sound better than equally-priced Edifier 2.0 speakers. This is the comparison those people need.

    ?? What are these comments. The klipsch sounds way closer to the refrence track, but it sounds treble and bass boosted. While the edifier sounds super harsh

    I didn't get anything of value from watching this video on my PC with a crappy set of built in speakers. Right? Right. No discussion or commentary or recommendation. Apologies- but this video is useless. I'm guessing that the charts show that the Klipsch has higher highs and lower lows regardless of the song? Ok. And that... Doesn't need a 9+ minute video. Sorry.
