Hey Daniel thank you for the video. Just a word of advice, try using a black background because the white is sort of flushing you out. But great videos keep them coming.
My routine isn't basic, but it is super effective: Step 1: Exfoliate. I do this in the shower with warm water. I use Goodfellow & Co Face Scrub, which I got at Target for $6. Because of my oily skin, I do this every other day, but if you have dry or sensitive skin, then only exfoliate with a scrub once or twice per week. If you prefer chemical exfoliation that you can do every day, I recommend CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser. Step 2: Shave. I use a shaving brush to apply my shave cream. My favorite is The Body Shop's Maca Root Shave Cream, but Pacific Shaving Company makes some good ones that you can find at Target for around $8. Sometimes I use pre-shave oil from Bevel, which is great if you have dry or sensitive skin, but I find it isn't always necessary for me. I let the cream (and oil, if I use it) soak into my skin for about 2 minutes, and I brush my teeth while I wait to pass the time. I use the Gillette SkinGuard razor, but if you want something more cost-effective, a safety razor is a good alternative (but you can't take it in carry-on luggage). I shave in multiple passes: first with the grain, then across, and finally, against the grain. Lately I have been rocking some designer stubble but I do still use everything I mentioned above to keep it edged out (I use Cremo Beard and Scruff Cream for my stubble, and I sometimes use it in place of a pre-shave oil). Step 3: Cleanse. I do this after shaving. I would highly recommend using a cleanser with ingredients like ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide. This instantly cleared up any razor burn I had and it is a good way to clean up all the hair that you just shaved. I am using CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser, which has benzoyl peroxide. This is a good way to prevent acne and to prevent a bacterial infection from using an old razor blade. Step 4: Tone (if you have oily skin). I simply take a cotton pad and soak it with Thayer's witch hazel and run it over my whole face, including where I just shaved. The rose petal version is good if you have sensitive skin. This will help prevent excess oil from appearing on your face throughout the day. Even though my skin is oily, I would recommend that you use one that is alcohol free to avoid irritating your skin. If you have dry skin, you should skip this step since toner can be drying even if it doesn't have alcohol. Step 5: Aftershave (optional). I enjoy using Taconic Shave Aftershave Splash in the Excalibur scent. If you feel like you need to use one, an aftershave balm like the ones from Nivea, Harry's, or Duke Cannon are super affordable and are very good. But if you use both toner and moisturizer, this may be redundant for you, but I enjoy the scent and the feeling it has. Just don't use one that has alcohol in it and you're good to go. Step 6: Moisturize. As I mentioned, I have oily skin, so I use Cetaphil Pro Oil Absorbing Moisturizer with SPF 30. It is important to protect your skin from the sun, so I use a moisturizer that isn't greasy and provides SPF. Use SPF 15-50 for best results. Step 7 (optional): Eye Cream. I have dark circles under my eyes, so I use the Oars and Alps Wake Up Eye Stick to help deal with the problem. You may not need to do this, but I would highly recommend it. At night, I simply use my CeraVe Acne Cleanser, then follow with CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion and the Eye Stick. Twice every week, I will use the Bioré Whipped Detox Mask to clean out my pores after cleansing but before moisturizing. If you start a routine like this and stick with it, you will have incredible skin. It's an investment of both time and money, but in my opinion, it's worth it.
I tried Geologie products and I wasn’t impressed despite all the great reviews this brand has received so far. This is what I call “having independent thoughts” :-) I really liked Tiege on the other hand also because every skincare step is included: face wash, scrub, eye, am and pm cream so I’m getting back to it.

A lot of people use Cera-ve face wash (drugstore brand) in the United States because it's effective, affordable and good for various skin types. I also would not exfoliate everyday because it can compromise your skin's protective barrier, leaving you more susceptible to breakouts, so only exfoliate every now and then. Above all else apply spf daily and regularly because the sun's rays will breakdown your skin.
I am Indian and my skin colour is brown and black daily I use alovera but I am not getting clear skin .I need some natural skin care tips without any harmful chemicals.

Good video overall but i would like to point out that heat makes muscles relax, while cold makes muscles contract. However, pores don’t have muscle, so heat doesn’t open pores, and cold doesn’t close pores. so its just a myth that heat open pore so this statement here at 2:15 is wrong. I do wash my face with hot water all the time for many reasons: 1- Liquids get less viscous (thinner) with heat so it flows more easily, like warm honey, or oil. Adding extra heat would make the oily gunk in your pores thinner and more easily able to flow out. 2-Also, many fats and oils turn from solid to liquid with heat so it help dislodge the pore and clean the skin. maybe hot water is not for everyone and depend on the type of skin you have but, as for me, i never had any problem with it and hot water feels really good on my skin.
I’ll make this point: extremes of temperature are not good for your skin. Hit water dries the skin out including the skin on your body. It is especially bad for your face because it can cause broken capillaries.
If you want to look good when you’re older use sunscreen guys! And I don’t mean some BS moisturizer with an SPF 10-15. In fact use a separate SPF as you don’t need that much moisturizer and you need way more SPF. SPF 30 AT THE Very least. But men tend to put a teeny tiny bit of moisturizer or sunscreen on and that’s not enough to get the protection number on the bottle. Don’t bake in the sun. Wear sunglasses. Wear hats. The sun is the main reason people look beat up. Men’s skin care is incredibly dumbed down. Eye cream isn’t necessary if you have a decent moisturizer. You can use that on your eyes too. Eye cream is just moisturizer that is four times the price. Paula’s choice has a great range which is what PC4 is from. But look at their entire range. Men’s skin is not all the same and they have a wide range. Drug store is fine. It’s like clothes. Do a high low thing. Mix it up. You don’t need an expensive face wash. in fact you don’t even need to wash your face in the morning. Some do fine with a morning rinse. Spend your money on serums or sunscreen or moisturizer. Good over the counter moisturizer - Cerave PM. Lightweight non irritating. I could do on but there are a ton of skin care channels on RUclips.

I have discovered that rose water mist is amazing especially during transitional seasons that wreck havoc on my face. Any brand works.
What about Neutrogena for face wash. The other brands are not available in my country
