Finally, someone who actually does an amp demo/review that just plugs the cable into the guitar, plugs the other end of the cable into the amp and then plays a demo of the unaltered true sound of the amp right out of the box and not through about 4-5 effects pedals. Thank you.
Sounds great, Justin! I don't play electric anymore, but I basically remember what amps sounded like when I did, and this has an accurate and clean reproduction. Have never heard of the Bugera brand before either. 😎
Thanks Josh! Glad you enjoyed! Yeah I’m super excited about this brand and playing through it! It’s a nice little amp for apartment playing, or small more intimate gigs!
Thanks for this demo dude, a lot of guitar demos all sound the same so I appreciated but also actually ENJOYED hearing someone play something other than pub rock licks 😅 I'm real close to ordering one of these little devils, they seem like they'd be a good time 👀
Hi! Very nice review! How much would you pay for this amp used in 2022? Would you pay a bit more and get a Fender Super Champ instead? It's for home practice only Thanks for your help
@@mr.d.572 Hi! I ended up getting a used Bugera V5 last year for $CA160 ($US120). It's nice for distorted tones with pedals, but nothing beats Fender for clean tones, IMO. So when I saw a used Super Champ X2 for sale for $US200 2 months ago, I treated myself to that one too! The clean channel is very nice and the amp's reverb is good enough. Not a big fan of most of channel 2's voices, but I wasn't getting it for that, so it's ok. Pedals sound good through channel 1 too, and it's not as loud as the Blues Junior that I used to have, which is good if you're only playing at home. Take care

Excellent overview. What is the story with the picks on the tuners on the Fender? I’ve never seen that one before.
Very nice demo, I think it sounds better with your fender guitar, the hollow sounds kinda thin...
Your el84 is loose and rattling. Wedge some plumbing tape in around it to fix
Does this amp take pedals well? I'd have to add something to give it more sustain and dirt.
Great Video

Great questions, too bad no one has answered them yet 😔

Is this better than a solud state combo?
I suppose it’s debatable. Most people either really like that or not.
That definitely depends which solid state combo you’re thinking of and what kind of tones you’re trying to achieve
I keepy tone maxed, then use guitar tone to adjust. Works for me.....
Hi. What pick are you using
