I've personally experienced a lot of mental health issues, from my own to losing people, to helping those around me so massive respect for the BetterHelp message. It can be so hard to share what you feel is a weakness with those you love and respect, you don't want to burden them with your pains, but that's what friends and family do. Never be ashamed to reach out to those close to you.

Betterhelp is good, as it can facilitate having these conversations, but the integral message we wanted to get across, was however you do it, make sure you DO talk to people/someone/anyone, as nothing good comes from bottling it up.
It’s so so important and especially as young men we thought it would be a good opportunity to actually BE vulnerable ourselves, may make atleast one of our watchers feel like its ok for them to be vulnerable too.

That being said, football is often a way for a lot of people to unwind from their personal lives and use it to escape troubles for a little while. I’ve used the “football therapy” myself and always play with a smile on my face and refuse to start any aggro. I know what it’s like to be enjoying a game only for some idiot to ruin it.
Others need to realise that the person they’re trying to start a fight with on the pitch, might just be someone who is trying to escape that kind of thing at home…
