One more fun fact: all the music videos of exo are relased on a date when an eclipse had happened or will happen in the future (except tempo and love shot). Fans basically were clueless until exo said themselves for the teaser of power in 2017- the power of music arises when the eclipse occurs.
Well we missed that point throughout the 5 years. And i got chills when i foumd that out.
even DMUMT release has something to do with lunar pairings on celestial calendar. I just dont know about Love Shot

All the little clips not of Baekhyun/D.O or Chen/Luhan singing are snippets taken from EXO's predebut teasers, where they introduced more of the possible songs from EXO & the members~ One day you'll hopefully binge react to the pre-debut teasers; they're a lost gem that many new-to-EXO reactors haven't seen, sadly-.- They're where Kai got his "dancing machine" nickname from & the clips of Sehun and Luhan with the RV really had people thinking they were twins^.^ (The two Sehuns dancing, where one is sitting in a chair and the other is next to a telephone, are both Sehun, though!~)

Hi Silvia! This is actually a pre-debut release. The only ones singing are Baekhyun and D.O. for the Korean version; Chen and Luhan for the Chinese one. SM Entertainment released this to introduce the group to the public, with the four main/strongest vocals on the front, to reiterate the fact that the debuting group has strong vocals.
I feel very happy watching your videos, seeing as how you truly appreciate the group and its members. I just love how you refer to Chanyeol as Channie everytime you see him onscreen. By the way, when you see two Sehuns, the other one is ALWAYS Luhan. Fans used to call them twins before because they have amazingly similar features when Sehun was younger. They don't look much alike now that Sehun's features have refined and became more masculine.
i think the beauty of this song is in the simplicity of the instrumental which really allows the gorgeous vocals to take the spotlight

This is the song that sealed my Kpop fate. I got into Kdrama first and some of the OSTs. 'Stay With Me' from 'Goblin: The Great and Lonely God' and 'Everytime' from 'Descendants of the Sun' were two of my faves. I looked up the artists and noticed that two of them were from the same group (Chanyeol and Chen). I had already been listening to some Kpop (SS501) and said I was not going to get into this music. But I decided to check out some EXO vids because of Chanyeol and Chen and I stumbled across this one and that was it. I feel all the way into the K(pop) hole, and have not looked back. I do prefer the K version because I love Baekyun and DO and the way Korean sounds (which is why I am very slowly painstakingly studying it) but l love the M version too because EXO. ❤️

hahaha it's because it's a snippet of every EXO teasers before the pre-debut mvs released. Those teasers are gold! And bc of that EXO gained fans even before releasing any MV. The teasers focuses more on showing the dancing skills of the members & also part of the stories of EXO and the pre-debut mv "What is Love" focuses on showing the singing skills of the Main Vocalist, "History" showcases their skills as a group and is ready to debut.
fan fact:
EXO is the 1st & only group that have a total of 23 teasers. And the 1st group to have a Pre-Debut MV that other groups now follows. They are also the only group w/ a very well thought & deep story. They started the theories in a concept, in their every teasers, MVs, concerts etc. they are all connected. in short they are the grandest group & have the best debut in K-Pop.

I wouldn't react to the music videos for the Japanese releases due to the high risk of copyright strikes due to how Japan handles copyright on Japanese owned content. Concert and dance practice versions I believe are fine. Not to mention the dance practice and concert versions will likely be the entire song. Japan is notorious for not uploading full music videos and only short ones. Especially for EXO.

the eclipses are really important to EXO's concept story/theories and their discography bcz their releases and their universes are tied with past or future astronomical/celestial events in time like red/blue moons, solar/lunar eclipses and comets. a lot is happening in these videos but you will probably have to look up fan theories to understand it, if u want to get more in to the story-line. and yes SM started this video/pic teaser culture with EXO and debut project culture with SMRookies(NCT/RV). the 21 video teasers for EXO that went on for 5 freakin months (the hype was REAL) showcased all their talents and versatility in many music genres that they will do so that ppl actually know with great details as to what they are about to stan. even after 7 years there are still songs from those teasers that have not been released and i hope SM brings them out the dungeon soon.

5. when they said they are aliens/out of this world, they were not joking. those vocals dont sound earthly. Chen shook everyone to the core with a barely 15 seconds part during the 2011 Gayo SM Orchestra performance when ppl didnt even know who that dude was . i hope you get to watch it.

Yes, Luhan and Sehun looked like twins! It took me a while to tell them apart. In Wolf era, their team quit dressing and styling them as if they were the same person. Both of them were the exact same height, now Sehun is taller. Still, the clip with the two Sehuns dancing, it’s actually Sehun on both frames. D.O. became my bias after I listened to this song, and he still is my bias today.
