Eylül'de ordayım 😊
Wow, how this place has changed stayed there in the early eighties in a straw hut for 20 Baht a night!
Nice to hear that it was so cheap in the eighties. Now everything is more expensive.
:-)
Is there much going on during the daytime in Fisherman’s Village, or is it better to visit there at night? Thanks 😊
There are a lot of restaurants open at the daytime. But also in the evening it is very nice.
360p resolution in 2023? No thanks
RUclips still work on it. Say thank you RUclips for processing hours on a 4K video in 2023.
@@VirtualToursTravel Oh haha I was wondering why it would be in this low quality, ill be back later to check again, thanks for the info
I feel like Westerners love to come to Asia but they segregate themselves from the locals always. They go to separate beaches, separate restaurants, separate beach parties etc. They're a very tribal people. If they could, I bet they would just takeover a country in Southeast Asia and kick the locals out so that it could be a Western country in Asia. Then they wouldn't even go to the rest of SE Asia anymore.
I think you cannot compare holiday and tourist areas with the whole country. There are many westerners living in Thailand mainland. But if you do that you have to learn the language. Outside of the tourist areas the most people speak only Thai. A tourist is a tourist and living in Thailand as a local are different worlds.
@@VirtualToursTravel yes, I agree with that. However, you can still make an effort to meet and interact with locals even as a tourist. Westerners don't want anything to do with locals other than having them serve them. They prefer to congregate, party and even when they live there, make their own enclaves. I feel like it's just part of their nature as they've always segregated themselves over history. Whereas Asians are the most widespread race and the most integrated. There are Asians in literally every inhabited continent in almost every country who live amongst every race. Then by the 2nd generation Asians have fully assimilated - you have Chinatowns for the 1st generation but you never see a 2nd generation Chinatown or other Asian town. By the 2nd generation they live everywhere and totally integrate. Meanwhile, in America, UK, Australia etc White people prefer to live in exclusively White neighborhoods generation after generation.
