That really is a work of art! However, I always find it interesting how an exact paint job almost immediately blurs into a general patch of colour at distance and it would be very interesting to see how real birds react to this paint job in comparison to the more 'cartoon scale' black/white/grey paint jobs other people have used.

Your right I Deffinetly haven't fooled any red tail hawks yet... they do start squeaking but one fly over and they move on.

That's a lot of weight in the front?

Ya I'm using the recommended battery, but even with it all the way forward I still needed some weight to hit the CG marks. It could be the servos I used which are micro but not sub micro... with sub micro servos it might have balanced better.

@@HaywardFamilybuilding yeah I bought the flight pack I think the servos are around 5g ? I used an American penny to balance mine now I have 2 pennies cause I added 1 x 3" 3mm spar on either side of tail with hot glue as it cracked slightly, and damn this thing is very cog sensative. Since you added ink or paint to a lot rearward of cog that would also mean more noise weight?

I don't think the paint pens affect it much or at all, I'm guessing the micro servos I used caused it to be a touch bit tail heavy. But all in all once you have the cog dialed, it flys so good!
