Wow, what a lighthouse. The views. I was actually gasping for breath for you Mike, climbing all those stairs. I don't do well with heights. I got a bad case of vertigo from a church balcony once and never went back up there. I think I probably would have keeled over in there. They would have had to lower me down the middle on a rope. lol Great shots and the water was so blue. Beautiful.
Those nuts! I am so amazed that they look just like what we called hickory nuts (the nuts and the tree) in Southern Indiana in the U.S. (The nuts before the chestnuts in your video). We had a tree in the rural area where I grew up. They are delicious, especially in pies. Just started watching your channel upon recommendation from David Johns/Cruising the Cut. Enjoying it very much!
Greetings from Poland. I'm really enjoying this trip to France. WOW! - what a monster that lighthouse was. The biggest in Europe you said! I'm not a camper. However, I was very impressed with all the amenities that are avaiiable in all the sites you've stayed at. How do these compare to sites in the UK? Lovely to see how much Keira enjoyed the beach and her walk to the large rock you investigated. Again, your filming was marvellous. The commentary was exceptional too. On to the next one then.
Hi Michael, we found that campsites in France have better facilities, things like swimming pools and other leisure activities. Keira always loves the beach. Thanks for watching 👍
I shall have to steal your technique for eating crisps and stuff. Never thought about jamming it between my man boobs 👍. The outside weatherproof bag is a good idea.
The best advice for those that come from Dundee is to never tell anyone else that you come from Dundee... I might have been born there but I couldn't possible say to anyone...
Hi Sue, congrats on the van, you must be really excited. Yes of course, if we can help we will be happy to do so, you can email us at weebroonvan@gmail.com, best regards.

It sure was a steep climb up that lighthouse. I also suffered from vertigo but I was ok on that occasion , it just comes over me sometimes.

Takes years of practice 😉, the bag was superseded by a small tent which was better.
