I heard that the US needs plenty of semi truck drivers within the upcoming years. Then someone told me I should apply for this hb2 visa due to my experience as a long haul driver. Do I have a chance with my skills? And is the state where I'd like to work and live selectable? I'm from Germany btw.
The H2b visa is for temporarily non agricultural work but you must find an employer to sponsor your visa. The employer must file that they need international worker because whey can not find enough American citizens willing and able to do the work. There fore most jobs are in hospitality for country clubs and some cases hotels. Unfortunately I have not heard of any tattoo artists on the visa as of yet
