Good visual video. I like videos like this where issues are shown, then solutions enacted and if necessary adjusted again. A confidence video for anyone wishing to tackle it themselves.
Great video. Just what I needed to see. My C3 is about as rusted up as yours. Finished the job today on my car, I think it would not have gone so well if I had not see your video. Many thanks for posting it..
Thank you for a very helpful video. IMO it makes no sense to try normal Torx in this case. I have damaged one and then bought torx for impact wrench. And that one worked very well.
@wodzimierzknapik6741 the inside bore was very clean and both sides of the bearing have seals to keep debris out - where i live rust like this is normal and this bearing has been totally fine! ☺️ also dont forget the flange and driveshaft are not fittwd water tight to the bearing so they are open to the elements constantly

They are crazy tight too!
Is it worth to buy this c3 for 500$ with bad front bearings?.The model from 2002 and diesel 1,4V -270 000km.
The diesel 1.4 is a horrific engine but if everything is healthy with the engine then just wheel bearings would be fine for that price
Great movie. But... You should clean rust on the nuckle arm firts...
The knuckle arm?

@wodzimierzknapik6741 what would cleaning off the rust achieve?
@@maxautouk Bearings don't like dirt. We see a lot of dirt and rust during assembly.

with torx always buy 2 . citroen 100 nm plus rust honda 55 nm some manufacturers go overboad on torq specs.
I think the torque isn’t too bad but yeah you’re right about the rust it’s a nightmare sometimes!
