Really hope they do, but they definitely didn't. Most of these empty inspects that aren't weapons from MWII, are just weapon variations based on MWII's guns. I.e. the FR 5.56, SVA 545, Riveter, and a few others. So the work, like the entire game, was pretty much handed to them. It's unfortunate, but a lot of the MWIII guns don't have empty inspects, but at least a lot of the reloads aren't that bad. But hey, you can't judge them too harshly, they were rushed.
The only thing I'd have to say on the Basilisk, is if they were to simply open the cylinder to check if all rounds are fired instead of doing the wild West spinning.
The animations, like with MW2019 and MW2, are very good. Sound design is solid but it's always the same "Here's the gun. Let me rack the slide/charging handle a bit".
