Train Journey ASMR Ambience (through an enchanted forest, possibly)

- I had to delete an old train journey video, so I thought I'd remake it, and do something much better:) This train goes through a mysterious enchanted forest as it takes you to your destination. You can read, eat your favorite sandwiches and play some old school video games as you travel, which make some great page turning sounds, crinkles and button clicking sounds (I used my Nintendo 3DS and an old cell phone--anyone remember snake on old cell phones? Ahh, those were the days, haha.) Have a fun journey:) Enjoy.

Hi! I'm Melinda, and I make relaxing ambient soundscapes of unique places. The video cinemagraphs are made with the help of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro, and the sounds with Soundbooth and Audacity. I usually use the Tascam DR-40 to record sounds. Hopefully, you'll enjoy listening and looking at these ambience videos made to relax you, transport you to faraway places, help you study or work, and maybe even trigger your ASMR.
I record all my sounds with a Tascam DR-40 microphone. Also, my husband is an amazing artist, who sometimes helps me create the visuals:)
I was disappointed that there was no train whistle. None of the ASMR I've found with trains has the whistle! Am I the only one who is soothed by the sound of distant trains whistling?

I agree! I grew up hearing a distant train whistle every night, it makes me feel safe. :)
ASMR Rooms has a "Reading Atmosphere - Inside Howl's Moving Castle" which does have a far away whistle of a train, for only a couple of minutes, and I always look forward to it. It sounds both soothing and a little melancholy, almost like a ship in a fog looking for safe harbor.
ASMRLoa's Reiki video has accidental train sounds recorded in the background. She apologized for them, I think, but I found it added to the effect for me!
omg!!! The train whistle is the BEST!!! Especially a distant whistle!!!! Summer nights growing up with my window open,I could hear them,so soothing!!!
The train sounds are just perfect! 💛 😍 However, I do agree with the other commenter that the paper and button sounds are too close to be relaxing. It's really difficult for me to criticize anything that you make, but personally I'd love to hear the individual sounds blend into the background (or be recorded further away from the microphone). As it is now, I feel like they are right in my ears, which makes it very hard for me to relax to the train sounds. I hope that makes sense! I really do love all the individual sounds of the video. You are extremely talented!
Seriously, if this had rain, and a distant steam whistle every once and a while this would be the greatest thing ever.

I put this on in the background, then heard the button clicking and thought "that sounds exactly like my old nokia phone from high school" and had to tab back to look at the description! What a fun blast from the past moment
This is awesome. My friend and I are listening to this together in a call (on discord) and we're just having a lot of fun guessing all the different sounds. We've been doing this with a couple few others of your videos. It's so nice to listen to as background noise but also fun to guess what's making the sounds and stuff.
Love your channel and the wide range of different settings you create! But is it just who who thinks the page turning and cracking sounds are a bit too loud? Feels more like first person experience, that I'm the reader of the book. I think that is how it is supposed to be because on some of your videos the book is visible in front of you :)

Thank you. That's great, but I'd like to hear the sound of a pure train, except for the sound of a touch.
If you raise the volume of the sound of the train as you like, the sound you touch becomes too loud.

From New York to California a five day journey in 72. We had sleeping compartments and I truly loved the view.
A lovely visual, the sounds bring me back to trips I took and I think it is time for another one pretty soon.

I love this, I keep coming back to it. I love the sound of trains for some reason, even if I'm driving and get stopped at a railroad crossing, I'll roll my window down just to hear it go by. Combined with the crinkling and button sounds, this is perfect :D

this is so freaking relaxing! train travelling ambience sounds on yt sometimes are a bit too much, a bit stressful, but this, both sounds and video, is soothing, relaxing, helps falling asleep peacefully. love it.

The car ambiance and through a forest is nice. Can you do one from the 1800$ ? Perhaps Autumn , with wine fields and forest, then up a mountain side with stops and station sounds, getting served a cup o coffee , tea , wine and sandwich ? A train ride through the Alps would be ideal setting for such. #🙇
I love the train sounds, and the crackling paper but the clicky-click of the game buttons was too much - had to switch to another one of your videos. It's funny how even a tiny sound like that can bother some people. But I give a big thumbs up to another viewer who wished for the train sounds with rain and distant train whistles. Some "having tea" sounds with it would be great, too.

I'm begging you... i love ambience videos, but every time i come across one of these, i have to immediately turn it off. That pencil noise in the beginning is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I understand, that's probably just me, and i really shouldn't complain, it's just that i come across so many of these and i wish i could watch them.
