I thought he didn’t like her very much, and he won’t mate with her. A silverback is supposed to have three wives, but Genki has been traumatized and bullied by females in the past, so she would not be able to survive in that situation. I think if she dies, they will give Momotaro some younger wives and he will have more offspring. On the other hand, I’m not sure the gorilla facility in this zoo has the space for a normal gorilla family.

I have observed that this zoo feeds the gorilla mostly grasses and greens. Almost no fruit, and they don’t give them whole carrots. They only feed the gorillas carrot tops, which are garbage from the restaurant. They don’t give them the entire sweet carrot. You can see that the gorillas love carrots. They need the whole thing, not just the bitter top. I stopped watching this channel over a year ago. I would get very upset at this jail-like enclosure and the garbage food.
@@genxx2724wow that’s disappointing to read. Thanks for the information. They deserve better treatment than that, do they have an outside enclosure or enrichment activities / enrichment feeding?
@@genxx2724 Me too feelings the same ☹️ I saw some another zoo got better food like the whole cabbage 🥬 whole carrots and good mix of variety of fruits this zoo feed poorly but come to think 🤔 the gorillas look okay but sure need to do some adjustments with the enclosure
@@lilliankeane5731 they have an outdoor area. It is bare dirt with some crummy plants. I think these gorillas should be taken away from this zoo and put in a better place.
Momotaro goes to the zookeeper on the other side of the bars in the small room at 7:23. He stands up and towers over her. He is huge! It must be awesome to be in her position.

Does anyone know what it means when Gentaro purses his lips? I see him do it often 🩶🦍🩶
He is annoyed. Another thing they do when angry, or annoyed is stand with their arms and hands together as opposed to apart like they do normally.
