- Apple recently announced their next version of iPhone’s operating system to be released this fall, called iOS 26. Named after the year following its release, which’ll be 2026.
The most noticeable change in this update is the interface. It’s the first major redesign since iOS 7. With Apple creating a new material they call Liquid Glass that’s been applied to almost every element of the user interface.

It's a lot longer than 15 years. The Nokia 3210 had this in 1998.

This is an incredible surprise! The sheer overcomplexity of adding custom ringtones has discouraged me from doing it for the past 8+ years...
@InventorZahranyeah I always exported using garage band and its a pain lol
they existed before ios 26, but you have to go through garageband to export and set one

i wish that, when previewing alarm sounds, the volume wouldn't reset to blaring each time. let it match the volume i already have set, or just keep it consistent when i turn it down the first time to keep it there.

@fruityflop8 I don't know about that. It seems logical to go back to the original design. It was stupid to get rid of real life elements it the OS with the flat iOS 7 and make the camera icon look like a camera that nobody uses. Apple is lost. They have no real vision and original thoughts about anything for so long.

Hands-down, one of my favorite channels! Haven’t been this excited for a software update in quite a very long time! A lot of the features make iPhone a lot more user-friendly, and in some ways it almost feels like the customer’s voices are being heard
no cap the beta is pretty terrible. it looks somewhat better in a few areas but there are major UI issues

The custom backgrounds in messages and the apple music features are a HUGE win for me

I’m a little bummed out that CarPlay Ultra is only for Aston Martin models at the moment.
A bunch of other manufacturers have said they have it. Again, like you said, Aston Martin is the only that has it rolled out.
CarPlay ultra is hud replacement, not just media player. it replaces the dash.
Carplay & android auto started out the exact same way. Very few brands & car models had carplay at the very beginning. It will take time
A lot of car brands are looking at excluding Apple Pay so they can then charge a premium to access exclusive features through their own software (ex: paying extra to be able to watch Netflix on the console)
Purportedly you can get 15% off a new iPhone with purchase of new Aston Martin (base models $143k+); 20% off when buying their $3.5 million Valkyrie ;-)

Custom ringtones have been available in iPhone for ever even without Garage Band. I've had custom notifications on my phone for years.

2:18 omg thank you. I was going crazy for how long it took to enter all tabs in Compact, i click the 3 dots then looking where the all tabs button is. It’s like i was playing where’s wally/waldo. The Bottom option is way better for me as I am constantly switching tabs in Safari on a daily basis.
