I just have to say, as a filmmaker myself, I cannot stand doing color correction. I am incredibly impressed by how well you did here. Such a great gift for these kids, getting these great highlights from you, probably not realizing how much work you put into them. Seriously, well done!

Whoa! WTF is going on with the filter, clarity or whatever? This is the most insane clarity I've ever seen on RUclips! Spectacular! What's different, I can't put my finger on it, but I love it!
Seriously, what you did with this video regarding color correction / improved clarity is a minor miracle. The Cosmic Clash videos I have seen on RUclips (up until this one) have been unwatchable. I haven't bothered commenting on any of them, but I would write, "Yeah, I bet this is cool if you're in person, but watching this video? I have absolutely no idea what is happening." I don't know how you did it, Midwest Wrestle, but you managed to upload a Cosmic Clash video where you can genuinely see what is going on. Serious kudos to you. Looking forward to more.
This feedback is incredibly timely and helpful-thank you. Raising the visibility level comes at a major cost to the richness and accuracy of color representation, and so I was planning to go darker in the next video to try and bring back that realism, but it sounds like the community would prefer visibility over color depth. I'll keep experimenting, but I'll err on the side of visibility.
@@MidwestWrestle 100%. If I want to see (or rather, not see) what it looks like at the event, I can look at any of dozens of other Cosmic Clash videos on RUclips. Visibility is way more important. Thanks again.
@@AFSWrestling So, I was thinking about your original comment further ("Yeah, I bet this is cool if you're in person, ...") and I realized that although I would have guessed the same, it turned out to be just as difficult to see even in real life. It was so dark in there that people standing behind me stopped looking at the mat and instead started watching the external monitor on my camera since it was so much easier to see. It was like using night vision goggles.
@@MidwestWrestle Wow. Must be really hard to ref at this tournament. I'm a middle school coach at a small school so I like to see what's happening at these big events. RMN channel is great but pretty much useless for Cosmic Clash. Thanks for your work, I tell my wrestlers yours is a great channel to see solid MS/HS wrestling.
@@AFSWrestling That's what I love to hear! The whole point of the channel is to help grow the sport, so to hear it's being used for training/education is very encouraging.

The lighting is obnoxious. I do love the space invaders theme of the singlet, but I have to wonder how many kids will get the reference to 1977.
Lighting, .. is a bit wacko on this video but you did very well in showing the lads wrestle. Always great to see lads doing sports & wrestling is among the very toughest.
